Hi, I have a situation in one of my accounts, where some ads in the campaign were disapproved (because they supposedly violate google policies, even though really they don't, but thesupport doesn't think so).
The thing is, there are still some relevant ad groups with active ads, so I've been thinking to just move keywords from disapproved groups to active, that would solve my problem.
The question is, could adding this keywords lead to the rest of the ads in active groups disapproved?

Instead of arguing with Google, be proactive and find out why it was disapproved. There's obviously a problem so fix it. It's Google's system and when they say there's a problem, there's a problem. The answers are all around you, clues as to the reason why it was disapproved and the policies are there for all to read.

Now if you try to circumvent things, that'll get you nowhere. You need to thing about what you said and the implications. First, I'll assume you set up your campaigns in a logical manner. That is, each group is a specific topic/theme. Moving the keywords from the disapproved group to one that is not means there would now be discontinuity in that group. You wouldn't move “dog food” to the cat food group as the ads don't match and that will affect your QS and costs, not to mention the wrong landing page and thus you wouldn't be selling dog food anymore.

You're assuming the problem are the keywords. I've never seen an issue where keywords are the source of a disapproval. But say it was, yes, you would then get the active group disapproved.

It's very nice of you to write such a long response. But you are wrong, assuming that I don't know the reason why my ads were disapproved or that I don't understand basic things such as ads relevancy or proper campaign structure. I'm only willing to move keywords to other groups, because there still closely related to this keywords and have relevant ads in them.

Now if you try to circumvent things, that'll get you nowhere.
In this particular situation circumventing things is the only solution. This forum has "black hat" in its name, if you only play by the rules, then I don't understand what are you doing here.

The reason why I suspect that this keywords might lead to ads disapproval is that they are related to the topic restricted for advertising. So the real question is: would ads get disapproved if this keywords fail to pass moderation?

I have never seen ad groups rejected by keywords, so you can easily transfer them. Usually such disapprovement occur due to incorrect ads.
