Document's sharing - Have a question

I am quite a newbie on SEO so I have a question regarding the document's sharing. Does it make any sense to upload the file to the website where file can be downloaded only?

I saw some sharing sites provide online presentations where my site get some juice from the site but others just let to download the shared file.

I'm r&d on doc sharing right now. I don't take download only because what does Google is supposed to index ? If you can't search a url on which you clearly see a do follow link, you won't get any juice.

"Good" is subjective since I'm testing it. I posted a thread 2 weeks ago with a list of 10 but discovered most were shit.

I'm still waiting for Google to index them. If they dont I think of buying indexation service.

The pdf are all a version of google siloed docs (containing a lot of google siloed and key MS/T1 links)
