This is my friend's website and what he makes on average. He has been disturbing me on how he can scale it up and make good money out of it. Generally I think if he gets people using it it's gonna pay out more, but he believes there is more.

I'm open to bright suggestions. Thanks

That url wont take us anywhere buddy..as for the earnings...you are making less than a dollar per month? My advice, shut it down.

So far not getting the kind of response I feel is right for the title of the post.

Its all about traffic
focus on channel which brings you the most traffic of the best quality of traffic such as good bounce rate etc
the more quality traffic you will get the more sales you will have

what are you expecting to hear? Its quite obvious. His website doesnt make any money, so what he needs is A) traffic and B) have a closer look at which type of ads you are running and switch to another program if its more lucrative/suitable to his site.

I really cannot imagine that having a full-page popup ad on every single page load, with a tiny close button, is doing great things for the bounce rate...

Personally, I would switch the ads off entirely and focus on building up the community first, then start introducing unobtrusive ads that don't cripple the usability of the site.

hi, try to remove that pop up and see how it goes.

cheers

The best advice so far. Thank you very much.

I just loved that your friend is "distrurbing" you :D

-look at the content - enough? Good quality? How does each page convert?

-time on page/site

-ad type and placement

-get more traffic

All the usual stuff.
