PLR articles ( Private Label Rights ) basically means articles that have been done to death. You'd use them as filler content by rewriting them or spinning using an article spinner like spinrewriter. I use them and manually do a quick rewrite, put them through Grammarly to check plagiarism and use them as filler or to start a blog.
If you are going to use a lot then try http://bigcontentsearch.com/, the biggest PLR search engine with something like 200,000 plr articles and ebooks.
if you just need a few you can get them on fiverr etc.
