Why Indian rupee is weak against Dollar(USD)?

I want to make sure I have my facts straight here. We are referring to the little green gems in the Zelda games, correct?

maybe becos CHINA not doing business deals with INDIA. If you seeing all business news, CHINA doing business with MALAYSIA, PAKISTAN (silk road projects), THAILAND, PHILLIPINES and OTHER ASIA COUNTRY but not INDIA??? i think.....
especially INDIA and CHINA now border conflict so many.... and INDIA always up nuclear weapon and publish and boast to CHINA

I don't want to go into politics but I'll state some facts. India opposes OBOR because of various issues and security is one of them. India doesn't have a lot to lose by boycotting OBOR.

Coming to Pakistan and OBOR, it can be clearly seen that China wants an ownership stake in various projects like in Diamer-Bhasha Dam project. What i can see is, Pakistan will be unable to payback such a huge amount, then it will allow China to build a military base on its land. Which will be a threat to their national sovereignty and can be a threat for India too.

All in all i can say, China is just another life support machine for Pakistan just like the US used to be before they stopped providing aids.

Coming to the currency problem, this is because of the recent tariffs on various products imposed by the US, while India did the same, this is just another part of an ongoing global trade war.
