There are a few bad domain extensions like .tk where you can find ways to register them for free. Otherwise, the cheapest thing is buying a .com domain for $0.99 from either Godaddy or 1&1

Like the other guy said, you can get free domains like .tk just Google it. However, you will NOT find free .com and the related so don't waste your time.
