An adsense question that probably has been answered

Its been about a year and my site is still not approved for ad sense I don't think.

Why do i think this? Because I cannot list any ads on my site and I don't see any ads on my site. I have received a envelope in the mail, but when I login in to adsense I still see the "we are reviewing your account wait 3 - 5 days..."

Does google automatically add ads on your site?

Im not sure I put the imbed code on the site correctly. Also my adsense is through my youtube account.

Youtube adsense does not work for a regular website unless it is on google's blogger blog platform. You need non hosted adsense account for ads to show on wordpress and other CMS platforms

Does that mean I need to apply for another adsense account?
Can I make two, (1 blog spot and 1 domain) or will that flag adsense?

You can apply to have your hosted adsense upgraded to a non hosted adsense, but your website used in applying for the upgrade has to meet adsense requirements otherwise your request will be denied.

To Upgrade your adsense account, you have to follow some steps. Login to your AdSense account and click My tabs, click on AdSense for content and create an ad unit and put it on your website. Wait for few days and google will review your account.

Write unique and quality blog posts with minimum of 1000 words. Do not use copied content or images. make your site navigation easy and use a good looking theme. Drive more traffic from search engines. This will help you to get your account approved.

While you're taking care of getting adsense approved, you can check for other networks as well.
Content.ad / AdBlade should be easy to get in to, even with a new site.
