"Sorry, there was a problem with your request." When Trying to Login?

Iphone 6 ios - Instagram App

1: When I tried to login to my personal account, I got "sorry, there was a problem with your request" but I can login with another phone or browser.
2: When I tried to login with ANY account on original Instagram app, same error.
3. I problem solved that by downloading Instagram++ and logging in via Facebook. Once I did that I was able to login to the original Instagram app with my personal account.
4: When I go to add any account on the original Instagram app, I get the "sorry, there was a problem with your request." error. But I'm still logged into my personal account. Just can't add any.

Anybody have this problem? Solutions?
Is my device banned?

Working with clients, this is a problem. I can login with Instagram++ and do postings, but I'd like to use the original app.

Full disclosure: working with over 100 clients over the past 4 years, I've logged into all their accounts with this device at some point.
 
Even weirder, I can login to any account on the browser on my phone. So it's not device ban. WTF.
 
same for me after PV 2-3 days ago. verifying with another device right now without any problems.

I fixed this by logging into my account via the browser and linking a FB account and I could then login via the app and I just unlinked the FB account a few days later.

Did you lose an account? I got an account banned and then had the same issue as you. Now also the reach on my post is throttled such that I can't reach people who don't follow me.

I just got an account banned and am in the same boat. Is your reach on other accounts throttled?
 
I only know one way to slove it which would be wiping my phone but that's not exactly something I want to do :/
 
The only way around this is the facebook linking method mentioned above that I am aware of.
 
I’m having the same issue now I can’t login to my Facebook account on the app but I can login fine on a browser or desktop. Have you got this resolved yet?

Have you tried a different phone to see if it is a device block?

The only way around this I have heard is to use the facebook login, but if facebook is not working for you either, that isn't an option. Sorry, but unless you re-flash the device I don't think there are any options. Hopefully I am wrong, but I haven't heard of anyone sort this out without just using a different phone

So you don’t think Fb will fix this problem? So many other people are having the same issue as me.
