Couple of them really made my day. We've all heard of the $10,000 hammer and the $20,000 toilet seat. 1) Seen the government award a $40 million contract to destroy seized illegally grown marijuana and another contract that day where they were buying $50 million in cultivated marijuana..... There are people that would have destroyed it for free, one bowl at a time! 2) $280,000 for YoYo's (Not kidding). 3) The government spent at least $518,000 to study how cocaine affects the sexual behavior of Japanese quails. 4) There was a grant in California (where prostitution is ILLEGAL) awarded to teach prostitutes how to install a condom on the "John" properly. 5) How about $1,000,000 for a luxury bus stop that doesn't keep out the rain or snow. 6) $2.1 million on how to research the best way to research. 7) Have you heard of the $30,000 Yoyo? 8) $970,000 for snow tires............... IN MIAMI FL! 9) C-section pigs. worth like 875$ a piece. Contract for $40k. 10) A grant for a study to find out if grants were effective
