What to do say when Client ask Office Address ?

I recently encountered an issue, One of Client ask my Office address and I don't have any, to be Honest.
Is this Safe and Normal to Give them you Home Address as Office address?

If you will honest & transparent with clients it will never create any hurdle in future.

Honestly i started work from home never said my client that i have multi flour office now i have many local & as well as overseas clients few of them still with me from the time when i started my own work & now i have offices in 3 cities (Agra, Lucknow, Mumbai) in india & Upcoming more branches.

Moral of the story person who paying you or going to pay you want you increase his business he have no interest you have office or not just try to convince him you're the right choice for him.

Aaha, not Good Idea when You're freaking Employee(VA) saying Clients our Boss works from Home.

Get a shared office and give him the address, most of the shared offices are available for hourly, daily, weekly and monthly plans. Also, you can get conference/discussion rooms on hourly basis. So, no harm. You can have virtual address of the same for a nominal monthly fee, if your clients want to send something to your office address and you can collect it from there.

Honest is the best policy. Tell your client whatever the truth is.

In Business never tell lie to client, because client need your trust and make sure their trust. If you are working freelance then tell him about that you are freelancer . If you represent the company then you don't worry about to give the address.

Take a virtual office in case u SOHO and not comfortable giving address

What does he/she need it for ? Stopping by? Sending Payment?
I'd get a PO Box, Virtual office, coworking space that you can state you work form if you do not feel comfortable to just say you have your home office.
These days office does not really matter as much, specifically when dealing with smaller clients, now of course if you are going after some very big fish you are better off to just invest in a (even small) dedicated space most of the times.
Overall I barely met anybody I worked with in person as all was done over the phone, video conference etc.

Yes, it's true but if client is new we can't share our actual address with them. If he is our old then it's say share with them.

I often get this from some clients, especially when I work from home, still dunno why they always ask this questions? I mean a good service provider is good regardless of an office or not
