Hey everybody! New account here - but not a new BHW member. I was an active member a few years ago but forgot my information. I wasn't a BHW master, but I wasn't a BHW noob either, somewhere in between. I'm now back in it all again. Oh, I'll be doing a journey thread!

I want to start my own agency to develop influencers. In the long run, I hope to make a few thousands a month. Initially, I'm just doing this for the fun and won't monetize for awhile.

To help increase credibility, I'll be using a "scale of vouches". Starting off, I'll be offering free services to any accounts I see with potential in the 1-9k follower range. Once I get the flow going and these accounts are loving my service, I'll charge money for that range as well as do the same free service for accounts in the 10-25k follower range. You see where this is going. The end goal is to manage a few 10m+ follower accounts.

I have a few questions regarding this project... The agency will have it's own IG as well as website. On the IG side of things...
  • What do I post? Just results and what not? Progress updates as well? This is all that makes sense to me, what do y'all think?
  • How many followers should I have? Of course, if this page even has only 25k followers, it will look scammy asf because no 25k people are going to follow my boring ass page that is only used to make sales pitches and what not.
  • What should my follower/like ratio be on a page as boring as mine?
  • For the sake of life, my boring ass page needs SOME comments! What should the ratio there be?

-

This is all the questions I can think of for now. You BET I'll be back with more questions! Damn it this project will be so much fun! Thank you all very much and have a beautiful night!

I wouldn't bother that much about the followers, engagements rate and comments. Go and buy like 1k-2k followers, some cheap likes and you are good to go. It is much more important to show your customers some results with actual influencer accounts and what you can achieve

Exactly! Results are everything. Noted what you said. Should I just turn comments off or?

What do you plan to provide influencers through your agency?

Growth? Connecting them with brands? Be a manager?

If the last two, do you have any experience and/or connections with brands?

1-2k is easy. Why waste your money on that?

Just sell. Why offer free services? anyone who is serious will pay you 100-400$ monthly.

If you don't think your good enough to do that, don't even try ...without more pratice.

Depends on the person and their own goals. I do have lots of brand experience but limited connections.

DONT BUY FAKE FOLLOWERS or likes for a legit business . Thoes are good for spam accounts not your legit business.

Well it isn't much money to waste. Guess I'll just naturally gain the account. Offering free services for the sake of credibility. I am very well qualified for the service I will be providing.

true, but what if they notice they are fake followers? its usually obvious. It's easier to show your skills.

If that is the case, i see better results by offering weekly payments. Most people who take a free month ,don't come back. Even with results.

Yeah. Thanks for the tip! So what should I post? Cheesy entrepreneur type posts orrr?

whatever you want, every niche has business's
Okay. How often should I post? Not trying to hit the explore page or anything... yet. Will do purely F/U unless I end up desiring my followers. Also, do you know how many followers would make my account look respectable?

You're saying I should wait until the page is at 10-25k before I start messaging people? Also there is no way I can do 10k followers in a month or two on my boring page lol.

If you make an agency IG you should post things related to the agency, you are going to work with influencers please, you will have plenty of perfect photos from them. Every time you get another client (influencer) you post their picture and say something like: "@thisguyyy is now with us, he loves surfing and cooking shirtless. Wow!"

And then when you find him a collaboration with nike you post, one of the amazing pictures @thisguyyy shot with @nikeeee last wednesday for their new active wear.

Easy.

And yeah, get 1k or 2k of fake followers at least, if you put hashtags you will get enough engagement to cover that fake followers.

Gotcha. Guess I was just overthinking it. Thank you! How many followers do you think would be ideal? Also, should comments matter? How many likes should I get?

What are you actually going to be offering influencers, help them grow their follower base, bring them paid shoutouts, both?

The strategy will be completely dependent on the goals of the client.

For example, lets say some account with 15k is going to work with me. His account is essentially useless until he gets more followers. So, we have to grow his followers. Depending on how much he pays will depend on how many different methods I use to attack the goal.

Another example, working with an account with 500k followers. They want to make more money on their account. They are doing their monetization correctly, but their engagement rates are very low. Again, the money I receive determines how effectively I will be able to attack the goal.

I think you see where this is going. Basically, we find the goals of the accounts, then we help them achieve it. It gets a lot more complex than this but this is basically a "too long, didn't read" summary.
