Whats up BHW! I am going to explain how I picked my proxy/acc provider back when I first started. This is going to be very simple and easy to do. I think this was well needed after seeing everyone asking about proxies. Before we begin, I would like to say I am a huge believer in pairing. What do I mean? Well I have seen that some accounts suck with certain proxy providers, while other accounts work great with that provider. So this guide will be based on finding the best pairs. When I first started, the proxies I used sucked for a lot of people using a certain account provider, but allowed me to get 0 bans/blocks with crazy actions. Still, some people can swear a provider works amazingly for them, yet do not work well on my accounts(even if I match their settings and everything else). This is how I found my perfect match when I started.
What Is a Proxy?
We need to start with what a proxy is. Here is a section of my "How to Bot" thread. Note I am just going to talk about ipv4, I am running some extensive tests right now with ipv6 and will update everyone on ipv6 later.
How To Pick a Proxy Provider
So what I normally do is research through forums like these and gather a list of the top rated suppliers. Then I take the top 5 and see if they offer free trials. If they do not offer free trials, then I will message them asking if I can refund if the ones I bought did not perform as expected. Some will allow refunds, some will not. What I then do is use the free trial/purchase ipv4 dedicated private proxies from each provider. Perhaps 1-3 each. You can of course do this to 2-3 providers if you are on a budget.
Next you will need to purchase some accounts.
How To Pick an Account Provider
I do the same thing as I did with proxies, look through for top rated suppliers and pick the best 3-5. Then ask for free trials, and if they do not offer I will ask if I can refund my purchase if it is not what I am looking for. Normally you want to buy 1-3 accounts per supplier. Mainly because you will need to mix and match on proxies for the best match.
Mixing and Matching
So now you should have about.. lets say 16 proxies, 4 providers, and 16 accounts, 4 suppliers, to play with. So now lets mix and match.
Lets use letters and numbers as names (You can keep a spreadsheet to remember).
Proxy supplier: A (4 Proxies)
Proxy supplier: B (4 Proxies)
Proxy supplier: C (4 Proxies)
Proxy supplier: D (4 Proxies)
Account supplier: 1 (4 accounts)
Account supplier: 2 (4 accounts)
Account supplier: 3 (4 accounts)
Account supplier: 4 (4 accounts)
Pairs:
Now we want to pair the proxies and accounts up. We can combine accounts from different providers up to save some money.
Budget Pairing to save money:
A1 A2 A3 A4
B1 B2 B3 B4
C1 C2 C4 C4
D1 D2 D3 D4
Or if you have the money you can double pair:
A1 A2 A3 A4
A1 A2 A3 A4
B1 B2 B3 B4
B1 B2 B3 B4

The reason why we do a double pair is just like double testing. We could have been given a bad proxy or a bad account, so we want to double test.
Settings
Now that we have our accounts mixed and matched we need to test each of them out with the same settings. We want everything to be the same (control) other than the mixes and matches. The accounts need to be warmed up to desired settings, 500 follows a day for example. What you are looking for are bans/blocks/EV's/PV's. I suggest testing a minimum of a week before making your decision. This may sound like a while, but patience is key. You do not want to purchase 1,000 accounts without having your proxy and account pair ready, else you are risking alot of pain in the future (trust me). Also, if you want to add links or whatever else that makes Instagram mad, make sure you add it to ALL accounts at the same time. You need everything to be the same to make an accurate conclusion. Deciding Which Pair
Once you feel as though your test is complete, you can now consider which pair you will use and buy more of them. Of course, you may have horrid results. If you are faced with bad results then go ahead and repeat with different pairs. If your results were pleasing to what you needed, then congrats you found a good pair! Scale!
Conclusion
This is how I picked my account supplier and proxy supplier back when I first started. My proxy and account supplier allowed me to do close to 3,000 actions a day without any issues(seriously), so I suggest giving this a go to try and find a good pair
. It is also important to know that people sometimes try to resell from the same sites. Kind of like SMM panels, most of the account providers are just middle-manning the entire process. And do be away that I cannot guarantee this will work for everyone, I am just stating what worked for me. Best of luck!

When you or your bot connects to the internet, it is connecting through an IP address. An IP address is "a unique string of numbers separated by periods that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network.". So essentially Instagram will see your bot connecting through a series of numbers that tells Instagram details about where you are, your browsing device, and more. What this means that Instagram can see how many Instagram accounts you are botting with through your IP address, so if you are running over 3 Instagram accounts on your IP address Instagram will flag your accounts and more than likely start using security measures to block you from potentially harming their site. That is where proxies come into play:
"A proxy is best described as an intermediary for your PC and the internet at large. When you connect to aproxy, your activity will appear as if it's coming from the proxy's IP address rather than your own."
This essentially means your bot will connect to a proxy server through a proxy, then connect with Instagram.com. This makes the connection masked and Instagram will not be able to detect you are botting with large numbers. Here is an illustration to understand a bit better.
As you can see, your PC will send info to the proxy server via the proxy IP then the Proxy server will act as a middle man and send it to Instagram. So instead of Instagram seeing your IP address, it sees the Proxy Servers address. This helps us prevent bans, blocks, and stay on Instagram's good side.
Different Proxies
You will more than likely see many different types of proxies, and what you are doing will decide what type you should use. We are just going to talk about ipv4 as of now since it is more accepted than ipv6.
When deciding to choose a proxy, I suggest choosing ipv4 proxies because those are the ones I have been using without issue. I have not tried ipv6 but someone in my mastermind group is running a test as we speak and I refuse to throw out misleading or incomplete information. When selecting your proxies to purchase, you must select dedicated and private ipv4 proxies. Dedicated private proxies are essentially proxies that do not rotate, essentially change proxy servers, and are not shared. Shared proxies are proxies other people have used/can use and are cheaper, however they can end up hurting your account so it is not recommended to take the risk.
There are also two different ipv4 proxies you should consider when buying proxies, residential and datacenter. These two are the mainstream ones. Some of you may be confused by now so I will make it as simple as possible.
Datacenter
Datacenter are proxies that are created in bulk and hosted in bulk on servers. They tend to not have any connection with ISPs(Internet Service Providers, comcast for example).
PROS:
-Bulk proxies for a discount
-Easier to replace when damaged
-Easier to manage overall
CONS:
-Nearly every single person who uses Instagram for malicious ways use Datacenter proxies, and since they are not owned by a ISP(Comcast for example) isntagram can detect people using them and essentially immediately be suspicious of your account. There are some real users who use datacenter proxies such as corporations, however there is just such a bulk amount of users using them for site spam that they fall into a bad category with site security.
Residential
Residential proxies are assigned to homeowners by an ISP(Comcast for example). Instagram can detect whether or not your IP has a ISP, and this in theory makes your account look more legit to Instagram since people tend to be sitting at home while using Instagram or connected to some sort of IP with an ISP.
PROS:
-Looks more like a real person's connections
-Some allow you to have up to 5 accounts per proxy if you are not breaking the terms of service other than by using a bot.
CONS:
-Since these are harder to obtain, they come off as more expensive
-A lot of providers will try to lie about having real Residential Proxies for cheaper than normal since they can get more money out of you, so beware.
I recommend you using ipv4 private dedicated datacenter proxies since they are cheaper, and good for beginners.
