You should do neither. I would suggest you read up on crypto for some month before investing in something like this. The competition is fierce, and you will have nothing unique to offer.

You would be better off investing directly in established cryptocurrencies.

Maybe you should start affiliate websites or blogs about crypto. You can start with 100$.

Both options you noted take serious work with highly skilled people. If you got friends or the money it might succeed. Imo too risky business at the moment and only interesting if you are actually one of those skilled people at the moment. (Programming, understanding how ICO's work, etc.)

I mean, if you don't know anything about crypto, i don't think it would be a good idea to invest in it. A lot of people have lost money by investing in mining equipment.
Start reading up on cryptocurrency and blockchain and consider again in a few months.

i want to ask and get some opinion, i have some plan to invest in crypto but im still thinkinig between 2 options : make altcoin and launch it, or make exchange/trading website.
how you guys thinking more profitable ? those kind of business surely need big investment to promote/marketing but my point is which is have the less failure ?
now so many trash coin in the market also but other side is if we have real plan then it would be good investment for future

Exchanges are better, alt coins are normally tethered to main coins. Exchanges depend on volume when price drops volume can still stay high.

With those 2 options I would think #2 is better seeing how many alt coin there is and new ones keep coming out. With an exchange you make money off commission so regardless of what coin will succeed you can still make money
