Most people here start by giving free review samples, so you can showcase your work, then you can start your thread and accept requests, you'll need to start in a low price to get requests. Then everything should follow ^_^

You can check other designers work in the images,logos and video section ^_^

You're best bet is to contact people and tell them that you're going to design for them for free in order to build you're portfolio.

If you contact the right people and do a good job you might get a network of paying clients, afterwards you can also create services on platforms like fiverr and buy reviews.

Not saying it doesn't work but its hard unless you're very skilled at what you do and know how to market yourself.

Remember when fiverr used to be this design?

I used to bank hard on it and it was easier then as compared to now.

You'll have to practice a lot and build a portfolio. Nobody is going to hire you without one. Follow above advice on how to make your portfolio.

There are many sites like fiverr and all are available where you can post your skills and get work

I think you need to make a portfolio for yourself. Without it, you can't position yourself as the good designer.

I agree with this, this is the most straight forward and best way to get going. It might take time but this is the way to go.

You need to have a good portfolio for company and people to hire you as a web designer. You need to let people know what you can offer and show them that you are competent enough for the web designing business.

Well, I am good but no one ever gives me a chance man... I design Logos, Photomanipulation (ANYTHING LITERALLY), forum signatures and avatars, DVD covers ,etc

Thing is I made 4$ on Fiverr once about two years ago from a customer. No one ever needed my services again. UpWork? Disaster, no one hires me. Freelancer is obviously oversaturated now to make even 1$ out of it...

Trying to make some money on the side as my wage is currently a mere 900$ per month and I work full time. So I feel what you're saying man, it's a though world.
