Hello BHW,

I have a website I created 6 months ago. I organically amassed 1000 views with no conversions unfortunately. I was thinking of going harder by directing paid traffic, either by facebook ads or google adwords. Which one would you think is better? Your answer will be appreciated.

Thank you

1000 Page Views or Visitors?

And if you can’t make a sale organically, why do you think paid traffic will be any different? Paid traffic should be used to scale something that’s already working OR for rapid testing.

paid traffic from google and big are buyers traffic and heavy niche soecified .

paid traffic converts better then natual traffic.

the best traffic is buyers traffic on a specific niche google and bing kinda get it right .

a bit of both organic and paid convert even better , even better add socail to it then pop unders and then a content locker

I say that you should invest $ 5 per day in fb ads.
and $ 5 per day in google ads.
and see which one suits you best.

Obviously paid traffic can convert better than organic traffic; however, my point was that his problem could be offer. So before focusing on jumping into paid full steam ahead, he should send more organic traffic or use paid only for some rapid testing

he should of had 100 views and 10 sales/conversion .

so maybe he on a shite niche.

Depends on your niche, what you are trying to target.
Niche is a treatment for infections that occur on the fingernails. Its a problem that is always going to be around so i thought i might dive into that niche. Im targeting the US. I just feel that im not getting infront of enough people. Now facebook has even blocked my account for "verification". Dont know when it will be unblocked. I was really leaning towards facebook ads. But looks like ill have to try google ads. Just wanted your guys take on it . I appreciate it

I find with Facebook, too many tards click ads for the sake of clicking ads. Whereas with AdWords you can actually target people who are searching for what you have to offer. Personally, I'd say Facebook would be better for selling viral shit and similar shit. But in your case I'd say AdWords.

Adwords would work better since your niche is problem based where a person would buy from you only when he/she is going through a problem and would search on google. Facebook shows ads based on interests, it doesnt have a problem detector.

Serious question - doesn't facebook use recent web history and Google search history to target ads? If I put in the interests section "weight loss" or "fitness" when creating an ad, doesn't facebook pull information from that users web activity to match the right audience? Otherwise, the targeting would be pretty skewed.

I feel like I've seen ads on facebook before for stuff I never "liked" or sifted through their site, the only interaction with those items was through Google/ third-party websites.

What you are tqlking here is remarketing. Facebook remarketing needs facebook pixel to be installed on a website from which it pulls content. It cannot fetch data from google but other third party websites like amazon and ebay since they do have facebook pixel integration.

About seeings ads for products you never liked, it could be due to multiple reasons.

1. Bad targeting/remarketing by advertiser
2. You went to a website which had fb pixel
3. You typed or talked about it on whatsapp/messenger/facebook

And there could be more.

Just slapped it on google adwords for 25$/day. Gonna see what gives. Thank you for the input.

I would say try both of them, atleast for once because it really depends on your niche. Try both and then analyze which platform suits your business.

Both methods are good, but it really depends on your niche and goals.
Facebook audience is live and permanent, but there is bounded platform if to compare with google adwords.

I used to absolutely love Facebook ads, but I have never...ever been able to have a profitable campaign. I would get tons of clicks, but no conversions.

Where with Adwords, it has been much easier for me to get conversions, simply because you can target people that are searching for the solution that your product solves.

I would agree with the other sentiments, try both. Then see which works best for you.

Adwords is all about helping you find new customers while Facebook ads help new customers to find you. The two work differently and you should use it in concert and not in opposition. Why search only in one place while you can search in both??

Ok but your wish
