Taking in account the limits of current Instagram API, I'm wondering how so-called media influencers agencies :
1/ are able to identify millions influencers on a specific category depending customer needs
2/ do track engagements/followers/etc... on those millions of pages

they learn the method to scrape the big boys with millions of followers, then influrance them to there account as a follower ,then use that account to advertise that niche for money .

you can buy a pdf to do the same(( try and learn))

will cost a shit load in accounts and proxies and online or softwhere bot.

I'm speaking of website such as https :// 6degrees . agency
they do "influencer identification, relationship management, campaign management, campaign measurement, and campaign reporting"

Let's say I have a B2B customer who want to promote shoes, and as a social media influencer company, I don't have influencers in my db who deals with shoes.

I type #shoes in IG, but I have millions of replies, and those are posts. How does a social media influencer company do at first to identify the top accounts that have had the most engagements with #shoes ?

I'm speaking about real persons IG accounts, who those social media influencer agencies are sending goods on behalf of a company to do product placement (pic with product) + promotional link for campaign tracking.

Maybe I should rephrase my question: If I wanted to identify from scratch the top 10.000 IG influencers in a specific country, how would I do it ?

they scrape them in that niche then , use shoutouts to get them on there list or try to follow them all to get them on there list

As I said, it isn't just anyone. They compile a list of hashtags from a certain niche then scrape those with a certain number of followers or more and a minimum engagement rate of X

As listed above there isnt actuly a lout of "methods" to find top notch influancers in a certain niche and country you can always use sites like shoutcart i geuss to find the big boys or you can create a recruting agency looking for all types of influencers in all niches with 300k+ followers and a good engagment and call them when you have a customer in the same niche but the hardest thing will be finding customers althought you can contact small brands offering them your service actully this will be a really damn good method

I have a friend who runs an influencer agency. He's quite successful and the influencers are all vetted by his team. Meaning, just because you have 900k followers, that doesn't mean anything unless they're actually engaging on your posts. Stuff they look for include:

- real followers vs fake followers (can use an online tool to detect this)
- real likes and comments
- no use of Instagram pods or whatever the eff they are called
- run their Instagram account as a business vs as a hobby

It's probably not necessarily the answer you were looking for, but yeah... You can also put out a call to people who think they're influencers to apply on your website and then ask them what category they'd fall under so for example: Fitness, fashion (but be more specific than just fashion), etc... From that database of people who've applied, you can sort through them manually or hire a VA to do it.

Honestly I don't think it's difficult, the difficult part would be how to make it successful and get leads in.
I would almost start in whatever city you're located in and find the influencers there, add them to your roster if they're cool with it then expand slowly to be like State wide or something.

Put up a super sleek website with good SEO and then start pumping out content related to why influencer marketing is so successful, stats, etc. It's a slow process but if you niche it to where you live it's easier to start off. Every city has food bloggers, fashion people, etc.
