Using someone else's website for Amazon aff. approval?

I have a very stupid question. Can I use someone else's website to get approved into their affiliate program? I would guess no because anyone could get into it.

What's the catch? Can I do it? If not, are there any other tricks to get approved if I don't have a websitee? thanks.

I've seen people linking someone's website when they were applying for affiliate networks. Most of them got accepted. I don't know if it'll work with Amazon but you can try.

You can try and if you do get accepted, afaik, you have to make your first sale within a certain time period otherwise you can say goodbye to your amazon affiliate account

If its a decent website then they may be amazon affiliates already and you will not be able to add that website.

If its not a good enough website they will disapprove your account once they review the site after 3 sales.

Yeah but does the sale have to come from the site? I can sell on social media. Worst case scenario, I give someone money to buy my affiliate product.

I'm sure there are good sites which use only adsense, no? Again, it depends if I need to get sales from the links within the site itself. If not, then it's not a big problem, right?

Can I literally just link to a random person's youtube page for the application? They don't verify it, right?
