If anything catastrophic like a security flaw in encryption or every exchange including Coinbase gets hacked then yeah but what's the probability of that? And then we would have much much bigger problems to deal with than funny money currencies.

2014 then yeah you could say it would be possible but just now that the world is finding out?

I don't think this will happen. But if something likes this happens, then people will lose a lot of money. Panic selling will create which will create a chain reaction. This will also impact the other cryptocurrencies. And a financial chaos will errupt which will impact everyone.

$1K? Would either be massive selloff and it will decrease until it hits original value or people would buy a lot and make it skyrocket back up.. At this point I can't see BTC ever touching $1k again. Maybe if the internet ceased to exist lol
