my neighbour is making alot of money on ebay selling baby stuff they even quit they jobs I wish I new were their buying they stuff from here in England :rolleyes:

What you sell makes all of the difference on eBay......

I was making some great money off of eBay, until everyone started using the same dropshipper and began selling items as "loss leaders".......

Find out what name they are selling under. Buy something from them. At least you will know the brand names and may be able to research the dropshippers from there.

My grandmother's neighbors make their living selling on ebay.

Their business model is to go to auctions at Storage facilities. I guess that when someone doesn't pay their bill to the storage facility and abandon their gear, eventually the company is authorized to sell everything off to recoup their losses.

Everyone at the auction has to bid to buy the entire storage unit...they don't sell the stuff off piece by piece.

So they buy the entire unit, bring a truck over and load it up, bring the stuff back to their home, catalog it, take pics and upload it to ebay.

Diffference between what they bought the lot for and what they sell it for is their profit. Classic buy low, sell high.

Not a business model I would adopt though.
 
We just bought a bigger house and my neighbor approached me to sign something to get another neighbor to stop getting tractor trailers from bringing him products for his business. She said he sells stuff on ebay and gets a truck every two weeks. I see the ups and fedex guys come by everyday. I will try to see what he sells he must be making some cash. By the way i told the lady i will never sign anything
 
I wouldn't sign either but if he is making money, he can rent storage. I did that for a few months to store pallets of goods.
 
well is very difficult to find the real distributor. the guy used to have a normal job but I remember they getting a loan to buy a crap little shop down the road so when they bought the shop as part of the business you get the suppliers. the lady them got pregnant and give up the shop because was crap anyway I think because she was having the baby and knew where to buy cheap (the supplier) from her former business she probably bought stuff for her baby, but because her business was bust she started selling on the ebay, because she knows there is no choice when having babys you have to buy stuff!!! so if you get cheap and put the price down you'll sell for sure. that's why I want to find out were she get her stuff it is good business :D

One of my sons football coaches did this except he bought like 3 of them not knowing what was inside. Come to find out one had a damn 92 Ford Mustang Convertible in it.

Talk about your damn luck.

so how do you usually find out about this type of auctions
 
I dont really know for sure. I think it was in the paper. I didnt ask to many questions cause I dont get in others business, But I went in to the shop to get my oil changed and seen him there with the car and asked when he bought it cause I never seen it at practice and he filled me in.

I about shit myself cause I think he said he only paid $500 for the 3 storage areas. But dont quote me on that,

There is a site that I know people use to get pallets of stuff some of you might want to look into. Its takes a bit to get started with that first pallet, but you can make a huge profit.

your welcome... but if you only want 1-3 pallets then theres a few guys on egay that
if you get on he right side of them they will deliver 3 for1
hint .. he sells at 160 bin with delivery
