Please help, what is a Click ID

Hi guys, trying to get into affiliate marketing, and my affiliate link I have to customize is like this:
http://*site*/affiliate id = *id*-offer=*ad company*-aff_sub={*clickid*}
what do I put for clickid? I asked my affiliate manager and he said put a click id, but I don't know where to find one. Do I just make a random string of characters?

It depends on the affiliate network. As you already have your affiliate id on that like it could be something that you put randomly to identify it for yourself. I could be wrong tho. It's best to ask your manager again.

Thanks guys, I think I'm overcomplicating things because my affiliate network just isn't that good and my link is glitchy, sending me to other websites. It's okay I'll just find another network probably.

You can Google that but I'm not aware of any.
