Haven't seen much of a discussion on the topic here.

But Facebook and Twitter recently released their Transparency model in the ad.

What this means is, Facebook now lets you see all ads run by any page.

Step 1 -

Step 2 -

Step 3 -

Twitter also allows you to do that now. You can go to any handle and see their ads for the past 7 days.

A good way to keep track on the competition.

Dropshipping dead lol

Damn! How did I miss that. Thanks for this insight, I can already think of ways this can help me. :D

Being new to facebook ads;

#1 Why would this functionality be added in the first place, is it something political or freedom of information?
#2 Will this have any effect on people Dropshipping trying to Brand a company rather than flash sale and selling trends?

At first, I couldn't believe they did this.
But then... A lot of marketers will just copy ads from pages/shops which are somehow proven and that way they could increase competition - which means more money for FB.
Besides that, all those dropshippers will need much more money for testing new products because they winning products will be quickly seen by others and copied.
It's probably same for all other marketers who promote affiliate products using FB ads.

Am I missing something?

This is actually huge... Thanks for sharing this, can't believe I didn't hear about this

Just going to have all the people who can't come up with their own ads stealing other's. Will be helpful, but when it happens to you it's going to suck.
