I'm curious about what happened to wjunction board. Their site inaccessible and giving 404 error.
Any thoughts?

The domain is not reachable since yesterday. :(

It was a great site, correct? Especially for Kids, who watch a lot of Filehosting advertises there and make their own one by using some available cheap script by spending 200 USD and a Server of 100 USD

Waste other's time and then scam their users after a few days - few months.

Same story - Repeat.

I know you are a Filesharing site owner as well but i am telling here my own onion. Not about you.

Hello there, hope my message finds you very well.

Can you please tell me what a ready script for a file hosting that costs 200 USD and the server that costs only 100 USD? I believe that the cheapest available in the web costs 500 USD and that's without any plugin and if you need some general plugins you won't spend less than 1000 USD. Beside what I did mentioned, do you have any idea that just 60 TB of files may costs 14,000 USD per month? That's in case you want good servers that has perfect internet connection speed which I believe most file hosting do buy.

However, if you have a bad experience with some file hosting services, I believe you choosed a bad one, because it doesn't make any sense that they close their services if they're doing well and their results are great. Services that are losing money only get closed.

You are maybe comparing with a bad VS a good one. Many kids are making file hosts for a few months and then run away. I was telling their stories.

My reference was for kiddie hosters only.

Anyway, Do you think a starter filesharing owner will buy a 60TB Storage server?

Still my example was not for them whom you are talking about. It was for some starter who run away after a few months and many gets scammed.

There were countless scamming filesharing sites advertised on WJ and being made per week or something according to Z-o-o-m Uploading tool.

Premium plugins? Those are being used by only premium Filesharing hostings. Not the starters.

90%+ are scammers. Sooner or later which is what i was talking about.

Note:- Most Kids are using https://sibsoft.net/xfilesharing/purchase.html and i said 200$ but you can get in 99$ as well. I said 100$ for server but many are looking for 40-60 EUR servers to start.

So if you are comparing the Worst vs Best = That will help here.

I see that you're using a ready made HTML theme for your hosting + WHMCS that costs $18.95 monthly, and also tawk live chat software which is 100% free, does that makes you a bad hosting? Because if you were right about what you're talking about you should say that you're a bad provider also because you're using a free HTML theme and live chat software and cheap billing software.

I didn't tried you service, and I don't know if it's good or not, but your comments about the starters doesn't seem like you respect your self, as you're starter also.

If any hosting service provides good infrastructure then their themes/visualization will be just nothing.
Look at kimsufi such a bad theme but they provide good infrastructure.

You got a good point, however there is more to talk about if you are comparing between them.

1. He is talking about filehosting businesses, where the UI, UX, website functions plays a huge part, without it the service can't be continued. And those 'kiddie' that he is referring to just grab a pre-made script while have no idea how the script works, and don't have control over the software they are using.

That would point out the fact that once the software has issue, they will either give up or end up hiring devs that is way out of their budget.

And what about hosting service?

Website thingy played a small part, it only helps for marketing, communication between clients and supporter etc.

Can a hosting service run without a website? - Yes!

So what is the point of investing a fancy website while providers just starting out? Taking available resources on the web isn't a bad thing in this case.

2. Talking about back-end stuff.

Does file hosting easy to be setup on a server? - Yes

How about hosting provider? - Absolutely not.

Without a proper knowledge of virtualization, servers, networking, ... I doubt anyone would be able to scale their hosting business and keep it fully functional in the long run.

So a provider with no knowledge would end up the same as a file hosting provider in (1)

And the main investment of a hosting service is from the back, you can't judge a hosting quality based on their appearance. However, I'm certain that custom website/panel would higher customer's trust and attract more sales :)

3. Sum up.

Both business are totally different from each other, just don't compare them and create not needed arguments :eek:

Does both business has 'kiddie'? -Yes :)

Are those 'kiddies' responsible enough for their service? - A majority of them, nope. (Not referring to everyone)

That's why @RootLayer_Sales have such a mean attitude towards those kids, he isn't assuming what he said for every service out there either.

Browsing WJ since 2010 and i can confirm that WJ was A top Ranked site in the past = 500 Most Visited sites. Later, It started going down for some reasons.

Many big companies are also doing advertising there atm.

I still know there are many Kids looking for money starts a business by watching others. They start a business like - RDPs & Filesharing.

Which website is most popular for RDP offers? Answer is WJ
Which website is most popular for Filehost promotion? = Answer is WJ

I am not blaming WJ for it. Just telling that many Kids starting RDPs and FIlesharing business and promotes there. Sooner or Later, they are scamming others.

90% of them are garbage. And we respect that 10 % trying hard to stay in the competition.

Sorry for the misunderstanding BTW.

Who says Kimsufi has a Bad theme? But you still contact other provider and compare their pricing to Kimsufi instead of going with Kimsufi.

Really confused you know.

We should be thankful to OVH that they are still offering unbeatable servers at such cheap rate which you can't even imagine. Even a Server running power cost maybe more than that. So we should think many times before commenting on anything negative about any OVH Projects.

Just my opinion.

It's down a few weeks ago, now it's down again... Anyone have any idea why ?
 
I was a very active user there like 3-4 years ago and they banned me for some stupid reason (My friend made a new account from my computer) without giving a warning. Never bothered to make a new account! :rolleyes:

Maybe you can re-try now. The community is fresh and better now. Maybe with low traffic but way better than the past. :)
