BTC free fall happening now

So, I could reply "yes it is", but I'm not in the mood for visiting the argument clinic.

In the end, it's just simple math, there is nothing to argue about.
Thank you so, so much for reminding me of this skit!

@redjebo

don't want to sound like a broken record, but isn't fiat currency made out of thin air? it's some ink on paper or plastic.. "backed by the government"

pls respond. i'm genuinely interested in the idea

When I say "money" I don't mean banknotes or coins, I mentioned so in previous post - "(read value)".
For the sake of discussion about crypto by "money" I mean what global currency are meant (in the general case, obviously it's more complex than that in modern economy) to represent - land, its resources and human or machinery labor (physical or mental) which creates every single thing of value, we as humans produce and use non-stop in our everyday lives. Money is way to exchange value for value of equal measurement and crypto is a way to exchange value for bunch of hashes, it creates no value of equal measurement. If it is to fulfill it's underlying promise to eventually replace all other currency that will mean all the real money (again, read value) are to be exchanged for an idea and wasted electricity and computer power which creates nothing (or at least, not nearly enough) of real value, which is nonsense in my book. That's what I mean by created out of thin air.

that's the idea, but what's the difference between using fiat currency ( which only has worth we attribute to it ) to using crypto currency ( which also only has worth we attribute to it ) ?

You could ask all the people who sold their houses to buy in Bitcoin at 18k or so. What they think would have been best. Holding their houses value in that shitty fiat stuff that has no real value. Or investing their houses value in that proper good new trendy stuff, which was no more than a fad.

what people do is up to them. only talking about the general idea of money and value exchange

Not much has any real value other than food, water and air.
Completely agree with this. Unfortunately the people behind the all the hard work for our food ( farmers ) have to live a hard life because of the importance society gives to other things.

Said it way back.... doesn't mean people didn't make a lot though ...

Only dreamers believe that Bitcoin will rise above 20k again. Absolutely fuck all chance. You heard it here first off The King Of Crypto C. Over and out.

There's a saying in trading called "Don't try catch falling daggers" so don't call the bottom till theres verified evidence it's reversing. I don't think it will, most countries don't like the idea of making a whole new currency to compete with. I can see it having uses in venezuela or Iran where inflation is just destroying them.

You should apply at wall street, Warren.
Seriously crypto is full of these "told ya" retards. Reality is market moves in both directions and time is a flat circle.

Extremely silly statement by people him, yes. Pessimists always hindsight "told you so" because of their own fear in the moment. No, you didn't know it was gonna drop in value. You guessed, estimated, and were right, this time. I would also guess every other guess was wrong, but they never take this into consideration.

Considering the adoption phase of crypto last year and this year, it's safe to say we are still in the early phase. But one thing we can say for sure is last year, Bitcoins value and crypto market in itself grew faster than it's intrinsic value (for what it provided). It may or will be worth a lot in the coming year(s), but if this will be Bitcoin or other currencies once all of them get their own fiat trading pairs, is another question. I guess it's Bitcoin. Good development and YEARS of proven track record of safety and functional.

Cryptocurrencies will grow a lot more as it's now more and more recognized as a entirely new asset class with real world usage. It's not just basement dwellers or kids with no market experience who invests in it, or focus on it.

I know a guy who took a loan for $4k to buy crypto when it was at the peak. He's fucked now. Don't so the same. Take it easy with this.

Well, it is never smart in no area to ignore the most basic rules. It is nothing but his own fault.
