Hi there, I want to start a fb ads campaign for my dropshipping website. The problem is I don't have much money to spend right now, so I wanted to know 2 things:
1) What is the minimum yet effective daily budget for fb ads? Will $1 get me somewhere?
2) I want to do fb ads in the hope they will convert into sales. What is the best campaign to choose from (CTW, PPE, CW)?

TY

$1/day budget is nothing as FB ads are continuously becoming expensive day by day. Minimum budget per day which can bring in some results is $10/day.

However, if you are going to target countries like India , Pakistan , Indonesia and other low tier countries you might get some results with low budget as well. Ads for these countries are relatively inexpensive than Tier-1 countries.

facebook gather similar types of customers to show adds... i might help you build adds

You need to spend at least $5 a day per ad for a few days to get some data, if no sales after a few days ditch the ad and try a new one with $5 budget.

Rinse repeat

And which campaign should I do for having more sales - PPE, CW or CTW?

$10/day depending on what you are selling.

It may also be $100/day if you are trying to sell something quite expensive.

You need to capture data for FB to optimize properly ( I think you need like 50+ conversions in 7 days).

I wouldn't do PPE if I were you, Facebook will bring you shitty traffic that don't convert very well.
I advice you to start with Add to cart conversion then those who clicked add to cart you retarget them again so that some will complete the task and buy from your store. Just stay the hell away from PPE.

there is one drawback that fb will take low cost on your ads but you will get less number of sales from those countries so target Usa Uk Australia like premium countries in order to get sales because if you will get sales then you will be able to male some money.

$1 is nothing. Fb ads are really getting expensive day by day and with fb ads you must have at least $5-$8 spending budget.

you wont gain anything from facebook unless you accumulate enough experience through a/b testing different ads.

The only campaign you need to run to get sales is a conversion campaign.
And I wouldn't bother unless I'm spending at least $40 per day in tier 1 or tier 2 countries

You'll waste your money if you don't have your store looking trustworthy and have good products and information properly visible about shipping and your business.

There are high bounce rates and abandoned carts with most shopify dropshipping stores because they all look like shiite.

Get some proper feedback on your store before FB ads or you'll see an empty wallet and premature balding.

Thanks for your comments I really appreciate that :)

Tier 1 countries are Europe, US and Australia? If so, they are the one I target.
Saying I'm doing a WC campaign but no one adds product to the cart. Do I still pay, or I only pay for cart adds?
And I have to make a store (catalogue) on my Facebook page for that or Facebook can know somehow someone added a product to cart?

I mean, people can just add products to cart and won't add any details like e-mails. This could be a bit tricky?

Is conversion campaign means WTC or WC? And is it through the store I should make in my facebook page or through my website?
I really want to learn that and pages on Google and Youtube seem to speak about it but not in depth. Can you recommend someone on Youtube that explain this well? :D

Btw, why has the post moved? What's the difference between the Social Network Forum to this one? Just so I know for next time :D

So we actually have two Facebook subforums here: the Facebook PPC subforum and the Facebook social networking subforum. The Facebook PPC subforum is for users who want to talk specifically about Facebook Ads whilst the Facebook SN subforum is more of a general subforum for everything else.

Understood. Thanks!
