There are literally billions of other such cases to discuss. This one generates discussion because of the underlying politics involved.

I see three mods who have chimed in who have not had issues with the thread content.

The only people making it a political discussion are the people saying "this is politics". This is a pretty clear cut case of rep management and PR, and is very much pertinent to what a lot of us do here.

For example, how Trump uses social media so effectively to market his political stance? That's relevant to IM too, no?

Also, how to market controversial topics on Google without getting banned, citing Breitbart, Infowars and others who were labeled fake news by Google and how this may relate to us marketing controversial websites?

If I remember well, he can't do something about him hotel's because they leave in charge about this their family (I think Ivanka) and in a legal think she is maybe the only one that can do something about this but in the real thing about this, this is a side attack, nobody think in Ivanka or in another one or think when someone hear "Trump" or that is the way that I see this, some years ago hear Trump was a synonym to hotels, books, stuff, etc, but nowadays the firsr thing that I think is president.

His brand "Trump Hotel" is still trademark protected, but being that they aren't pretending to be Trump brand hotels, and instead are using it for political protest/conversation about the current political climate in the US, this will be one that goes to the courts and those with the deeper pockets will win.

Trump International can take this domain name easily because of obvious trademark infringements.

Given that it's getting some social media attention now it probably won't be long before the domain is repo'ed, and they'll soon find out GoDaddy folds like origami to any pressure and may even give them a nice bill for the troubles.
