Google Penalty? No Message in search console?

I feel like one of my sites has got a manual google penalty. However, I do not have any notifications in search console. Anyone have any ideas if they still send them out?

You must wait a couple of days. Or try adding some URL from your website through Search Console.

Same problem here, no manual notification but suddenly the keywords are not showing in google search console & links to my site Backlinks as well not showing.
What could be the reason for this?

Basically all my keywords totally tanked in the space of two days. Look at my traffic:



No reason for this at all other than potential penatly

It could be an algorithm change. I had a couple of sites experience the same drop off in traffic at the same time as you. They haven't been penalized.

Probably algorithmic then, not manual.

Google has been spitting out updates since end of March.

Just because it isn't manual doesn't mean it isn't essentially a penalty. Take a look at your last three months' + links and see if there is anything that could be pissing Google off. Actual manual penalties are VERY rare these days because the AI does so much for Google.

Unfortunately, it looks like you've been filtered by the algorithm.

I've heard a number of people talk about traffic drops around those dates, so there was obviously some kind of update.

Thanks everyone for the replies. So looks like I have an algorythmic penalty as such. The link building is pretty much grey hat. Paying for guest posts on bloggers sites. I wouldnt of thought that this would trigger a penalty because I have used this technique on many other sites and they havent been hit. Im going to see if I have any possible panda issues.

If you site still indexed after typing in google site:yourdomain.com it's not a penalty. Might be normal google dance, the best dancer 2k18.

I'd look along the lines of content/onpage/panda, too. For guest posts, paid posts/links, PBNs, there aren't any algorithmic filters/penalties so far, only Penguin for mass spam. So, if the links would be your problem, you'd have a manual action and see a message in SC/WMT. Since there is none, it's probably not link related at all.
