wanted some help to change nameserver details and this was how i was treated by them. If you want very slow replies and the same type of treatment i got, you ahead and choose them for your hosting needs by all means. I normally don't post such things, but i think i had to post this as i am sure there are many out there like me trying to find for a good hosting provider.

Any backstory on this, or just did you contact them out of the blue? And why on Skype?

No backstory, just that i can't get hold of them via ticket. And the only reply i got in ticket was use cloudflare, which was not my issue. so they had live chat and it used skype and contacted them there and that was what happened. the person also said thinks like , they don't care, good luck kiddo, go cry, we are hackers blah blah blah.. even if they gave me free hosting , i will never stay with such a company

I don't see why so many recommend them. Paid to advertise their company? anyways, this video was to show those like me searching for a host provider the type of service they have.

That sucks, I've never heard of them honestly. I'd be cautious of any off shore hosting honestly. I know it's needed for people who need DMCA's ignored, but you get what you pay for. If their whole niche is to allow things that are illegal in the US... They might not be the best at support lol.

lol yes, they are the most suitable person for using dmca, i have also requested for a refund, let's see if they honor that atleast
 
Unforunately, this stuff happens with cheap providers. You are going to have to make a sacrifice somewhere, in your case service. But generally, Service, Speed, and Price are going to be affected. You can only pick two of the three. Sorry for your bad experience.
 
That is the question why on Skype. Even if you contact us on Skype you are going to be told to go log into your account and put a support ticket in. If you are not happy with the host just make a backup and move your account.
 
I'm not sure that can find the best words to describe what I just watched ( Unless OP had to deal with 12y o. ).

Regardless of the OP case, there are better ways to explain to customer that for secure reason they can reply and solve his issue via ticket and only.

I totally agree with what HudsonWebServices said.

The good news is that there are plenty of professional providers out there who will take care of any technical issue you have.

Please open a ticket, Sir. Skype is for pre-sales related assistance only. or It is better you wait for a ticket response. I will push someone so he/she can reply you there asap.

Can't they reply like this? Did you see how rude was their replies? Is it still acceptable to you?

I could not find any Rude behave from the client's end yet on the Skype conversation.
 
See, i already contacted them via ticket and the reply i got from them was: Use cloudflare. But my problem was to change the nameserver details as the dns itself was not point to my website from my domain to the server. To even use cloudflare, your dns needs to be working in the first place.

So waiting for 1 day, i thought i could get hold of them via skype faster as i don't want to wait any longer and maybe they can help look into the problem.. But you already know what happened afterwards...And there is still not a single reply for the refund request ticket i opened with them.

P.s: I received another mail saying they had changed the nameserver but it was wrongly edited and the ticket is already closed, so i need to open another new ticket which i am not bothered to do so.

Better you take a Backup and move somewhere else if you respect your business or whatever you do.

yes i am already searching for a different host. I have not even setup anything on their server. right after purchasing the hosting plan i wanted to change the namerserver names and no support was given, can't imagine what would have happened if i had a live site and needed help with something. I need a good dmca ignore host, that is the problem ;)

You are recommending hostings without know nothing about requirements of the OP, do you know if OP is using undergroundprivate is because he want a privacy and offshore hosting right? The probability of the OP being searching for a offshore hosting is high. And you are recommending hostings that doesn't are offshore at all.

You should have some concern about what you will say, because if he wants a offshore hosting that hostings you listed here is not good options to go, certainly.

Also can someone please tell me what is the difference between vps and dedicated server? i see that dedicated servers have 100mbit and vps plans have 1gpbs etc.. does this mean vps is better than dedicated? it's confusing. Also for a movie streaming site, if there are many users, will 100mbit be very less?

VPS is virtualized, is not "100% dedicated resources", but dedicated server is a little more expensive but have dedicated resources only for you. That means you don't have any resource limit. Of course dedicated server is better.

But if you are starting you can go with VPS you will be fine, if you will host a lot of projects I could suggest you to go with dedicated server.

If you don't need a lot of power, go with VPS.
 
I don't believe this guys.. They replied me saying they don't have a skype account and next they won't refund me back even though it's just been one day. And also , they blocked me from entering their site. Unbelievable...

They send a reply saying, it's not them... so i made this quick video to show that when i click on their website, i am brought to their skype account. I give up on this guys.

P.s: if they don't use skype, why is it even on their website in the first place? Wish anyone using them good luck!
