i run an amazon affiliate site. I never captured emails in the past. now i think i might want to in order to get people to return back to my site.

do you offer any content upgrades to increase site traffic or sales? if so, how what are good ideas for an amazon affiliate site?

I don't capture emails but I do run re-targeting ads on Facebook which has kinda similar end result.

it's higher than regular ad targeting "cold" audience. These people already know you.
