Hi

Looking for some advice on Instagram client management.

I've recently taken on 4 clients (my first growth clients on insta) and everything is going well. I'm in talks with a few more clients and hoping to secure at least 2 more clients by the weekend.

But one challenge I have is posts - all of the clients I have had discussions with have asked if they can continue to post whilst I am working on their account. I've never had any issues with this in the past on my own accounts (logging in from a second device while bot is running) but as these are client accounts the last thing I want is to risk a ban! So I've advised no to be safe and advised when they want content posting to let me know and I'll post it!

My question is that is this really nessasary? What are the chances of a ban if I allow my clients to post their own content?

I've thought of a couple of solutions - letting the client use my proxy to prevent any difference in IP address or telling the client to post only during the 8hr sleep window.

If anyone has a solution for this or any experience with it in the past or present I would appreciate your advice :)

I don't see any reason for getting banned just because an account is being used by you as well as client.
Even if you are using two different IP's it shouldn't be a problem, as long as atleast one of them is a mobile/residential IP and not a proxy.

I use my own account on 3 devices + bot. Din't ever had any problems in past 6 months.

Thanks for the reply mate...I've not had any issues personally but wanted to be safe.

Going to try it out with my next client and see how it goes :)

You should be fine! Just ensure that your actions count (follow/like/comment/dm) do not conflict with your client’s actions.

So as long as you’re both within reasonable limits, you should be good to go

No worries man, manage xxx clients here and all are posting, never had a problem, just be sure they not perform actions such follow/unfollow/likes. I always terrorize them a little bit, telling them: If you follow/unfollow/like IG block you this action for at least 3 days, so you lose 3 days of growth, so be kind and follow the rules or make ur “loss” decision.
