Just buy some hardware wallet and store your crypto there if your goal not trading, but holding it.

I work with kocoin and binance, they are not decentralizer but i think they are still secure if you got 2verification active

You should try decentralized exchanges like ethermium.com, they trade wallet to wallet and dosen't have access to your private keys so it is safe, only problem is they dont have a lot of liquidity
