Fb ads will work but you probably wont make a profit if your only point is to redirect to amazon for an affiliate commission.

Amazon affiliate commissions are veryyyy LOW. Ad spent on FB will NOT give you standard ROI tbh.

Depends what products your site focuses on and what your conversion rate is. Higher priced items = higher amazon commission. Try focusing on products that are more expensive, that way once you get a sale, you will earn a decent amount of commission. This also gives you more options as far as running ads goes - if you're getting paid decently per sale, you have more leniency with what you can afford to pay out for advertisements and still return a decent profit.

Get your paid traffic from google adwords; they control well over 70% of internet traffic.

I prefer to buy traffic...but I do Amazon CPM, not Affiliate and it works differently.
