Depends what products your site focuses on and what your conversion rate is. Higher priced items = higher amazon commission. Try focusing on products that are more expensive, that way once you get a sale, you will earn a decent amount of commission. This also gives you more options as far as running ads goes - if you're getting paid decently per sale, you have more leniency with what you can afford to pay out for advertisements and still return a decent profit.I will have Adsense as well.
