I am new In internet marketing, can anyone help on how and when does EPC converts on a certain offer.
Is it when the sale complete or when the link to the product is clicked?

haha u reminded me of the first day when i started in cpa i was thinking the same about epc.. u got it wrong EPC = earning per click = it show u how many clicks people need for them to convert that offer into a lead. for example offer pay 2 dollars per email submit and the epc of the offer is 0.30 u gonna do this 2/0.30= 6 that mean every 6 clicks the offer convert for people ( but it depend on your traffic ) when the epc is high for example 5 dollars per email submit and the epc is 1 dollar that mean it's a good offer

thanks alot but what if in the above example you provided, 6 people clicks on the offer where each email submit pays $2 and epc $0.30 then will I earn the total of $14 ($12 for leads + $2 for epc) or?

No EPC doesn't pay, it's just an indication...

No they wont give u the epc so u wont get that $2 it's just an imaginary number that show how good the offer convert

what if one person complete an offer does it mean i will earn $2 or six people must click and complete an offer for it to convert to one lead

Good explanation

EPC, Conversion Ratio, Click Through Rate, etc are all metrics. They mean absolutely nothing when taken out of concept.

Your EPC, Conversation Ration, CTR will always be different than other affiliates due to how you promote an offer. Some affiliates will have laser targetted ads (mailers) and have crazy conversion rates while media buyers will have abysmall conversion rates but make up for it with volume.

When picking an offer, don't base ANY of your decisions off of these metrics as they mean nothing. Pick what YOU think you can sell the best.
