Forum Suggestion: Personalized Homepage

Was thinking about this , I know a lot of the posts on the homepage are latest posts from all forums but would be nice to be able to subscribe to specific forums and show latest posts of those forums only on the homepage and filter out all the other forums where the topics don't really interest you. Half the time I'm spending time scrolling through the main page skipping lots of threads that don't pertain to my business and not engaging so much. I'm always on the go so I check BHW often on my phone and this would save a lot of time and get me to the topics I want to post in.

You already can subscribe to specific subforums.

Go to the subforum you're interesting in and click the "watch forum" button.

As for making the homepage personalised, I've seen a lot of threads on this topic before, and they all end with the answer "it's not going to happen".

I see requests such as this a lot, home page is the eternal source of all this BHW. Why not look at your watched forums instead if you don't want to see specific forums. https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/forums

No, you can watch threads you haven't replied to by clicking that "watch thread" button at the top of each thread.

They're threads you've replied to or added to your watch list; they're threads you're interested.

With a bit of tweaking, I suppose you can convert your watched threads page into a "favourites page". To start this process, go to your preferences page and uncheck the "automatically watch threads..." box.

From there, go to the watched threads page and click on the "Show all watched threads" link at the bottom of the page.

Once you can see all of your watched threads, you'll want to unwatch ALL of your threads. There's an option to do this in one click in the upper-right corner of that page

After that, you can use the page as a way to save your favourite threads by manually adding threads to your watch list. You should still receive alerts whenever someone quotes your posts or likes your posts in threads you aren't watching so long as you don't mess with the alert preferences settings.
