So I've been working on a couple Instagram accounts and my goal was to monetize them through app download earnings. I signed up for Ogads and it doesn't seem like its what I want its all about locking stuff behind a content wall. I've seen people just do swipe up to download and it takes directly to the iTunes store and I'm wondering how this is done? Do you sign up for the affiliate program directly through them?

Also when is it a good time to start monetizing an account? I have about 1200 followers but very high engagement like 300 likes and 50+ comments per picture and am wondering if this is enough to being or should I keep building to not lose credibility?

Is an Instagram business account and good to know. I will sign up for the affiliate program there then, and get my account to 10k followers.
