Meta Noindex, But Link Showing in GWT

I created a backlink last week on a particular website. I later realized that it has a meta noindex, nofollow in the header. I tried to force index it anyways but no luck.

Today, I checked my GWT and I saw that link.

I went back to the page again to confirm and it still has noindex, nofollow in the meta .

Now, I'm wondering if this will pass any juice. And It's a ******** backlink

So if you do not own the website, how are you able to change ''no-index'' links? That should be made by the web admin of the website that is linking to you

I didn't change anything at all. The "no-index" is still there if I view the source file. But somehow, I see the link counting as one of my backlinks in GWT

not sure if thats related but there are often noindex links indexed in G

Yes, the point is the page may be no-index but the link still exists, therefore GWT still lists it. Google isn't going to tell you which links are useful to you and which aren't.
