Auction Domains for PBN's

Hi All,

I've bought a few domains through auction, I've resold some of them and I was thinking of using the profit to start my PBN.

Given the footprint factor, I would assume that it's a bad idea to use the one account to buy the domains then transfer them to a 'fake' account as the whois would show a history of my ownership.

I'm considering for PBN site purchasing to open a new account with VCC and fake info, bidding on desired domains until I win a PBN domain then render that account 'inactive'. I can then transfer from fake account to fake account... rinse and repeat those steps for each PBN site I buy.

would anyone recommend anything different? and although I'm assuming not, is there a way that I could use 1 or 2 of the domains which I've purchased through my existing account?

G could already see a lot of things before if they wanted to (as they are registrar themselves, they are believed to be able to see behind the private whois); but they never did and they probably do not even need GDPR: as it is very bad for their business to be seen as infringing on privacy, even remotely; as they already know too much, and they know they are on the radar screens of many people for infringing; so domain registration is not how they determine footprints imo (unless too obvious).

so @SEO-G you can use private whois, but no need to be paranoid about this.

Yeah, so G use their magic ability to see every private database (protected by privacy law, general theft of data, and about 20 other laws) from all the private companies registering domains for their search engine algorithm.

I mean, does this sound possible? If something sounds like it is breaking the law, it usually is. Just because it is a multi billion dollar company doesn't mean it is above the law.

I've heard the rumours that they can, and also people recommend that you don't use Google apps/services but my thoughts were a) would they go through so much trouble, time and energy to rat out a small PBN and b) just as you say, potentially be seen as not respecting privacy.

It is against the law, so why would they.

And with the Google apps, that is correct - if you agree to let them use their data for improving their systems - they can use it.

Godaddy has never seen shit imo. And if they did, they were not using it. Also, buying domains from auctions is all but footprint. There are hundreds of domain resellers and you won't get penalized, just because your whois info was visible for a short period of time.

Chill and go for it.
