Anyone else seeing MASSIVE serp shakeup in Google

I'm seeing huge changes in every search I follow. Literally every page 1 result different in lots of searches.

The results look really weird.

Some of my pages are better, others worse. The results I'm seeing are a truly massive change across the board. Is it just me???

Weird. Now everything looks back to normal. Every query I did for about 10 minutes there showed huge changes. Even massive names in my niche were gone. Maybe I'm hallucinating.

Or maybe I was get cached results from 2010. Maybe no reason to panic, sorry for the alarm.

It could be an update, which would be based on location-based G servers scattered throughout the region. Normally, they have this load balancing tech, which refers you to another G server based on the load factor - so, if another server is undergoing some update, or if it is a little busier than expected, it may refer you to another nearby server that has yet to update itself.
I think they have been tweaking their settings too often these days - I've kept tracked, and it's been a monthly, or month-end saga for these updates.

a few hours after writing the post above it hit me as well (in a positive way) - many #1 rankings. This morning all reverted back to where it was #3- #5 - strange thing.
