Been into dropshipping for about a year now. I have now reached to a level where I very well understand of putting a budget of about $20-$30 a day and getting a total sales of about $200/day - Which gives me a total revenue of anywhere between $50-$100/day depending on the products I sell.

I have hired a VA and now want to focus on how to scale my business.

Not just through FB but using other platforms too!

Anybody here who would want to suggest or share platforms with good potential to find buyers? I do know about most of them but still would like to hear more from experienced people :)

I am considering starting a POD as well. Have got some experience with thay too.

Feel free to share your experience & expertise:)

Thanks

Why do you want to find other platforms if you did not use the full power of FB Ads? What is your audience size?

I have explored FB ads and am able to make a consistent income through it. Yes, may be not to its full potential as I do not scale that high.

Now that am looking at launching my 2nd store, I just want to explore more options. FB is not ONLY the source for traffic.

You have got a good start, but I have worked with companies who make thousands per day per product with a combination of facebook and a good sales funnel.

So you have hardly scratched the surface with fb.

I suggest you are perhaps best looking at learning how to scale your audience/product base and improving your website funnel conversions with fb as your next step, before you move to another channel.

Google ad words! It's warm traffic. Especially good for selling trending products that people have seen on facebook but lost the ad so they search on google.

Are you doing any retargeting with your Facebook pixel? How many Look-A-Like Ad campaigns are you running?

Thanks mate!

Its not rocket science. Its difficult but if one stays patient, make notes, does enough daily analysis, I feel that anyone can reach to this point.

Do you have an Instagram account?
It's hilariously easy to market Shopify stores on there if you're in the right niche.

Not yet! Creating genuine followers on IG is a one full time job kind of a thing itself. The amount of time I have devoted to FB+shopify just didnt allow focusing on IG much. But now that have a VA and planning on setting up my 2nd store, IG is definitely on my list.

I agree with you on the niche part. Also, adding to that is the geo targeting. Plays a very important role when doing IG.

Great achievement! Sound pretty good for a business. I'm following :)

Thanks! It is indeed. Provided it is taken that seriously. I failed terribly with my 1st store. Found great products, did good FB ads but wasnt able turn any profit.

Then realised its not about just picking up products, adding to your store, running ads and then waiting for money to start rolling in.

Its A LOT more than that. A LOT.

For me, when I got my first sale, then 2nd, then 3rd and so on (but was not earning any profit) and I believed that If sales can happen, need to find a way to now become profitable. So did a lot of inportant changes, read a lot of ebooks. Purchased online courses. Did intense market research and launched my current store.

It is possible in this business but be prepared to put in money just as you would do in any normal traditional business and then give it time.

Are you doing any retargeting with your Facebook pixel? How many Look-A-Like Ad campaigns are you running?

I dont do retargeting much. Reason is that my product types are not the same. Example, if someone buys a selfie stick doesnt really mean would also buy say a wireless earphones. However, if I am running an ad campaign with good results and I find a product which indirectly relates to the same product I am running ads for, only then I do retargeting.

About look-a-like audience, I usually have about 2-3 ad campaigns running almost all the time. Sometimes it includes look-a-like and sometimes it doesnt. However, in general - Once I have a successful product and ad campaign, I then create a new ad campaign with look-a-like. So there have been times that I am ONLY running look-a-like and there are times when no look-a-like at all. The strategy keeps changing with the product types.

Google Adwords is definitely one of the best out there! Running ads on FB - You put it infront of the people who are not expecting or dont even know that they have a need. But through your targeting, you try get that set of passionate audience who just wouldnt be able to resist and just buy.

On the other hand, On google, you target through specific set of keywords. Unlike FB where the targeting is mpre inclined towards the interest and behaviour. So a person coming on google and searching “Buy nike shoes” surely tells you that he is ready to buy. And this is why adwords ends up costing more.

Hope this helps :)

I want to promote my shopify on adwords. How to know popular products? thanks.

Do keywords research and find what kind/type of products are people searching for to buy.
This will give an idea of may be a niche with high potential. But, dont forget to do enough of research on the competition:)

How many ad sets do you make and what is the daily budget for each of those?

I am having a hard time trying to figure this out.

Pretty much depends on your budget. Make sure your funnel (product page, checkout, shipping & faq) is all refined then you can start your ad copy
