I have written and rewritten several strategies and I shot up out of bed last night with a rather backwards idea. Can I draw in traffic to my social media platforms by focusing on bringing traffic to my site which will be designed to get folks to interact with my social media? Has anyone done this? I'm looking to build a brand prior to monetization and I know sponsors often look at overall online presence when seeking a sponsoree.

Thoughts?

You may find useful accounts for CPA spamming =))

Usually is the other way around, you use your social media accounts to bring traffic on your website, where you can start monetizing.

In addition, you have more control over a website than over a social media account.

I know it's generally done the other way around, but could this work?

Edit: for the same sake of being more specific. If the site is designed to put content front and center in the form of an RSS feed to the social platforms (and the content is good and the niche correctly marketed to) I imagine this being an effective means to grow a brand accross several social platforms.

I think anything can work, but the question is why?

If you can draw visitors to your website, literary the sky's the limit.

I read an ebook that said not to push merch or monetization prior to building trust with your following. I was really hoping to build a reliable brand (I'm an artist), but I suppose putting up a shop on one of the pages isn't such a crazy idea as long as it's branded correctly.

I think realistically it's always easier to drive someone from social media to a website than the other way around.

But the obvious question to me is why? If you have already driven someone to your website from SEO why not use that opportunity to cash in? If it's to grow on social medo, there are far easier and quicker methods. My advice if you're building a brand would be to grow on FB/Insta etc.. organically..there's thousands of methods out there or just outsource it on here and then push that traffic to your website.

First off, I appreciate all the help.

I just revisited my strategy. I'm going to test monetizations per SEO push round.

Now I'll just need to learn how to back link overmultiple social accounts without the website getting banned from the platforms. Would I get my website blocked if my five Instagrams linked to twitch, twitter, website, YouTube, and Patreon?

All of these would back link to the site. Would Instagram be upset by that? The purpose behind the SEO push will be to build authority prior to doing this. Should work without using bit.ly or Google right?

I want a very safe method that allows me to focus on content creation.
