Thoughts on Udemi for paid traffic?

Hi everyone,

Im new to affiliate marketing and am wondering, as far as paid traffic is concerned a lot of youtubers are now recommending udemi, however it seems like the general consensus elsewhere is that facebook ads are the best way to go. What are your thoughts?

P.S:

(completely unrelated newbie question) Should you choose an expensive product (with like 500$) commission to promote? Simply because less sales are required and you can get a similar amount of traffic in each niche? (The niche with a 40$ product can yield same amount of traffic as 500$)

So, for Udimi, they only have clicks on the Internet Marketing, Make Money Online, e-com, and other business related niche.

I know people that are making money with Udimi but they're promoting ClickFunnels, for example.
For clickbank tho, I've never seen people using Udimi for it, but, using the ClickFunnels guy example, he's using Udimi to get targeted traffic, breaking even on his funnel and then, using his list to profit in the long run.

I would say you could promote offers like CB Passive Income from Patric Chan in the front-end to break even with your adspent on Udimi, and then continuosly promote it to your list for a week or so and then you start promoting something else like CB University, or something.

Udemy does not see it as a viable option, use clickbank better.

Im trying to decide whether I should be getting traffic through fb ads or udemi. Though I suppose I can just promote different offers and see which is most profitable. I assume the best method for Udemi would be landing page(capture email) -> affiliate offer (and of course follow up emails). Facebook seems pretty different though, judging from the red tea detox thread, people are making money from quizes(?)...Guess ill have to throw some money at each method to see if I can get either one to work.

Got a little carried away in this response, its just that all these options are super exciting. Thanks again for the info, gonna try stuff out!

In Udimi you're absolutely required to have a landing page for your promotion
The vendors won't even approve your request if you're not sending people to a landing page.

And yes, regarding what you said about fb ads, in Brazil (where I'm from) there's a network that's similar to Clickbank and they pay in our local currency. They don't have as many offers and the comission% is not as high (highest I've seen was 40%) BUT. I believe competition and adspent overall will be lower. So yeah. I'm considering Fb Ads for affiliate marketing too but for my local market.

It has lead gen, demographics research, ad copy, successful ads examples, you name it.

I registered for a network similar to clickbank in Brazil (where I'm from)
Some vendors there have a list of customer's email we can use to retarget / custom audience out of it.

But I never actually ran FB Ads, I've just taken a lot of courses on it lol. What are your thoughts on that? I'm kinda on the fence

Influencer outreach for clickbank products? Sounds questionable.

I was just curious about FB ads since I saw people doing well with it on the red tea detox thread, however these people are creating their own blogs/websites which must make it more worth it. (Mancar has the best way of growing through fb ads).

I am under the impression that quality paid traffic through which you can offer a product (clickbank sell) and a free product(to capture email) is the best way of spending money on clickbank promotion assuming you arent trying to become the authority in a micro-niche. If you are trying to become an authority, fbads/instagram influencer outreach seems to be the best way to go.

Unfortunately no :/
I got laid off a week ago, and my affiliate income isn't paying my bills so adding ad expenses on top of that won't work
But, hope you're learning and I hope seeing you succeed too
