It varies. I've seen quotes up to $45 for 3 whole-sentence variations of the original article. Personally here's what I'd do. Go to mturk, or rentacoder, wherever you can find some inexpensive writers, and offer to pay them to do this.

Personally I spin my articles sentence by sentence, with SOME nesting, but not much. This produces exceptionally readable articles, and it's easier to train someone else to do as well.

Spinning is a hassle, but it can pay off BIG if done correctly.

^ i agree it can be a hassle. the reason i ask someone to set something like this up is:

after completion, i can spin the article hundreds of times, all without duplicate content issues. that is, if i do variations of words, phrases, and sentences. is there anyone that does this?

a $45 fee is "ok" in terms of having content for your countless blogs.

i dont mind writing an article myself, but getting it spun so i have somewhat unique content to post on all my blogs is another story.
