Want to move blog with SSL certificate installed

Hello My BHW Friends,

I don't know much about SSL certificate so that's why I have some confusions and require your help.

I want to move my wordpress blog from one host to another, my blog has SSL certificate installed so I want to know that do I have to tell the new host to install the SSL certificate or the SSL certificate will automatically move with the my site when I migrate the site.

Second question is do I have to purchase SSL again on new hosting ?

Third question is please guide me what do I do first to be safe from any mess. should I move website first on the new hosting and then install the SSL or first I install the SSL and then move the site.

I will try to answer this in order. The new host should have an migration service, normally everything including the SSL will be move as well.
This should been answered above.
The third answer should be to move the website first, ( the ssl should move with it) after that you simply update your domain to their name servers

Most web host offer free migration.

Did you buy the ssl from the web host or do you have a free ssl installed on it? Just contact the new web host that you want to move to and I am sure they will have something to help you out.
