got a free review copy from mr @Natty, the ebook is very easy to read and doesn't fuck around much. It teaches you the in's and out's of keyword research, but that's not the highlight. The book changed my perspective on sitemaps and their usage, it also gave me a few ideas of my own on how to better use the data popular sites like semrush.com give out.

My only caveat is that it could be longer, I've read everything in 30 minutes and was left parched for more knowledge, everything else is as outlined in the BST. Great stuff.

Ok review time. Got a free review copy:

So first I'd say if you are a total noob in kw research this can definitely help you.

If you already worked by some of the most popular tools you will likely not find anything out much new.
For me there was unfortunately no hidden nugget here as I already do what is being described in the ebook.

Conclusion
If you are new or have very little experience in kw research you could pick up some solid info. However, if you have worked with the standard tools before you more than likely will be familiar with the covered topics and method.

On the pro side it is nicely formatted and written so plus for that.

Good luck with sales

Read through it in one go and will keep it short and straight to the point.

It's easy to read however the majority written I already know but then again I have been absorbing knowledge every day for the past couple years so can't blame the writers for that.

If you don't know much about KW research it's definitely informative and as Z said I didn't know about that trick on page 4 either.

It's a nice add to the collection and as they announced updates worth checking out.

Cheers.

Before i received the book, i was thinking about how I needed to set aside time in my busy schedule to read it but after reading the first page i ended up reading the whole thing honestly this is a great guide.

Its takes you through:
  • the workflow the op's go through when choosing keywords for their projects.
  • the standard tools the tools they use and their pros and cons.
  • their experience's when using the tools and examples on how they use them.
  • pitfalls to look out for such as metrics.
I like how the guide is short, easy to understand and on point unlike those cringeworthy ebooks written by self-proclaimed guru's who use as many words as possible to describe something that could have been said in just a few words.

As for the price, thing of it this way how much would you spend when split testing between the platforms ?

Its a shortcut that saves you the time and money so in conclusion i think its worth it.

Review

KW research has been my biggest issue over the last few years. Site design, structure, onsite/offsite seo, no problem, but identifying KW's I can actually rank (difficulty) and make a reasonable amount of money on, this has been the real issue for me. So, this review is coming from a newbie as I class myself in this area.

I have bought KW packs from BHW BST's in the past and the best ones have been from @BassTrackerBoats in terms of real world difficulty, not just what the tools tell you. So, when I was given the opportunity to have a look through a KW research guide from team BTB, I could not wait.

After reading it through several times now, and having put into practice today what I learnt, here is what I thought.
  • Extremely easy to read - I read this from start to finish in one go. I thought, like a lot of other guides, I would skim and come back to finish the next day but this guide flows really well, has no fluff to skip and before you know it, you are at the end.
  • Tips - As others have mentioned, some great tips to make life easier, especially if budget is tight.
  • Methods - Both the expanding existing niche and finding new niches gave me some great ideas.
Results

Spent a few hours this morning trying both methods, how did I do?
  • Expand existing niche - found 5 easy KW's with search volume >4k each
  • Find new niche - found plenty of new KW's to think about for fresh sites
General comments
  • Could the guide of been longer? Yes, but I am only saying that because I am hungry for more. It does what it says on the tin and teaches newbies like me the basics of what tools to use, how to use them and methods for finding easy to rank KW's.
  • With a promise of updates to come, this really could be a superb investment.
  • Bonus video - BTB offered this above, it is superb and highly recommended, easily as good as the guide with a few new methods and twists to try.
Who is this guide aimed at?

Me and newbies like me, though there are a few things more seasoned pro's can learn too.

Bottom line

Wish I had read this 2 years ago!

Thanks @Natty and @BassTrackerBoats, looking forward to seeing the updates and learning more.

Got a free review copy from OP.

It is a short guide, not a few hundred pages lengthy guide which will make u feel sleepy.
If u don't know how to do keyword research for your niche then this is a good guide for u. There are free guides for this too, but here u will find some extra things - so even if u r not a noob, still u can try this.

The most interesting thing for me was:

There is a section in the guide about 'Finding A New Niche" :) I learnt some new tricks here. So u could also use this guide to find your niche.

Price: It might look pricey, but the things u will learn here - u would have to spend around a year to learn that without this guide.

I was lucky enough to grab a free review copy from OP.

This book was refreshing because it was straight to the point, which I like. This means it was shorter than I was expecting, but that's more or less a good thing in this case - time is money, and the author wasted none of mine getting into the meat of the guide (this has been mentioned in most reviews on the thread, sue me).

The first 9 pages were nothing new to me (overview of various keyword tools, an easy way to analyze competitors, etc.), but page 10 and on had my attention.

The guide discusses a website I'm (and many others are) very familiar with, but have never used for coming up with new niche ideas, and to find keywords that other sites in your industry are targeting.

Page 13 preached an essential truth that far too many either forget, ignore, or don't understand/realize.

I like that it goes through very specific examples, as I personally find that showing concrete steps helps solidify the bigger (abstract) picture, especially for those newer to keyword research.

A few minor downsides:

The guide doesn't mention a few great keyword tools, but the same principals apply so it's not really a big deal. If you already have some keyword tools that you prefer, you can use them, or you can use the tools outlined in the guide. Some of these tools have decent free or cheap trials, and with some creativity you could get enough trials to get most of your work done before spending bigger money on full subscriptions (they actually discuss a smart trick to help you get more trials, which can easily save you a hundred bucks or more with little effort).

The guide ends pretty abruptly, right when it's on a roll IMO. I would have liked so see more on researching products to promote, as it just mentions it briefly. Again, not a huge deal, and you can apply the information from the guide to finding specific commercial-intent keyword tools.

Bottom line: A solid guide, especially for those who are newer to keyword research. If you're experienced and are looking for a clever way to use an existing (free) resource for new niche ideas or to expand on your current work, this guide is also worth purchasing. I understand the price may seem high, but the main nugget of info I took away from the guide is worth more than the asking cost of admission. I do wish OP would discuss more on buyer/commercial-intent keywords specifically, but it's not a huge deal that it's not covered more in-depth.

I recieved a Review copy.

The Book is short and simple, i love it. Not to much bullshit talk, not beating around the bush. Just straight forward and right to the point. I love that they have added some pictures in it as well, not just a textwall like any other eBook does nowadays. I am into SEO, i am not an expert but i definetely know about keyword research and have a good knowledge. However, this book also teached me some good additional stuff which i didn't know about yet.

In my honest opinion, this book is both for beginners and for experts because it's never bad to refresh your mind on stuff like this and it is definetely worth the read.

We really appreciate the reviews, Guys, both the good and the bad aspects as they are bot important to be out in the open and will help us going forward with anything else we offer.

Beers for all of you on @Natty.

You guys are amazing marketers. A nifty little trick on page 4 ha? Buzzfeed much? Jk.
Good luck with sales.

@Natty offer me a review copy, looks very detailed and well explained about how to see competition and find really good keywords, + and - from sites like ahrefs, semrush and so on.

It`s 20 pages long including 7 section ( 6 without intro )

I am not an expert in this section but it`s quite very simple to follow steps and to learn something new, even for someone like me!

Good luck!

Thanks for the review and super glad it gave you some knowledge that you didn't already have.

Hmm this is one of those intriguing types of things where I will know 90% of it but then there are that 10% that I may not know, but it might be a quicker way of doing what I've done for years.

I think I'll take a peek

Before Reading my review you should know :

1. I'm keywords seller myself from 2012 , last keyword service here - i closed it since busy with coding projects- , but could read 100% positive reviews from paid buyers .

2. I'm coder developed multiple tools for keyword research purpose like this , from point one and two in short I know what I'm talking about !

3. as said I'm keywords seller such guide is risking my business , and I'm not partner/affiliate with OP and his partner .

Review :

Positive side :

1. Learn By Doing : in my opinion this is why people fails to learn new skills , programming skills or seo skills ...etc they study raw content without getting practical mindset , the guide shows practical example from step zero to follow .

2. Short with content value saving : I'm PMP certified trainer , when was giving offline training the most challenge for me was completing the course in 35 hours only while i feel i needs 100 hours at least to covers the PMP materials and making my students pass the exam from first time -fortunately i passed the challenge - , facing the same challenge nowadays since i will publish this month -hope so- C# programming course for bots creation , the course needs at least 10 hours but nowadays these generations don't have mood to study long , so made it 2.5 hours after months of reviews and editing ... the guide is short -around 21 pages - but saving the target value , it's easier for OP and his partner to make it 200 pages from making it 20 pages , and in this point i totally don't agree with mod review regarding this point -with full respect to mod but he have no academic experience in content production and training since he still college student - , the authors shared pure knowledge based on practical experience without WF gurus rehashing style , i will quote this from the guide :

"Over the years I’ve tried more keyword research tools and software
suites than I care to remember and that’s an experience that you
shouldn’t have to go through. There’s no need to waste your time and
money testing endless tools when I’ve done it for you."

Negative side :

in any content authored by humans you will find wrong or missed thing -since they are humans not gods ! - , i noticed the authors didn't make the reader pay attention to another way of monetization -beside doing keywords research for themselves and rank sites ...- , which is making keyword research for other -selling keywords service- , the guide already giving you the same tools and ways to get it and knowledge ... keywords sellers have , you could start your keywords research service and making $$$$ monthly just by selling keywords on BHW and similar platforms ... i see a lot of noobs making threads "how to invest $$$" ! , $97 for JV , $30 for sale thread , $150 for this guide , $100 for tools , free accounts on gigs platforms ... and you have $$$$ monthly business .

I requested a review copy from @Natty and he was kind enough to provide me with one.

OK, to start with this guide is short at 21 pages, this isn't necessarily a bad thing but I think it would have been better if 2-3 other research examples had been included.
Also not entirely convinced it needed the tool comparison as only 2 are used in the examples.
I totally agreed with the Metrics section.
If you are experienced with Keyword Research then you probably won't find anything new, and you will feel that the guide is overpriced, but obviously this is aimed at Keyword Research beginners without experience.

Somebody who does not understand or has never tried Keyword Research will find value here.

Remember that Keyword Research is one of the most important aspects in IM and SEO, it is the foundation that everything else you do will be built on.

This guide can help you find keywords in your niche and if it helps you beat your competition and make more money, then it is worth the asking price.

Thank you for the review OP and good luck with sales.

Review:

Natty was generous enough to offer me a review copy. The ebook was short, well explained straightforward and easy to understand while still being thorough and detailed so you can follow along and implement things step by step. Very well put together. If you are facing trouble finding and identifying keywords, this ebook covers great strategies and useful tools to help make keyword research much easier and I would highly recommend it to beginners.

@Natty offered me review copy of this guide

This definitely was an add up to my knowledge though most of the things were already in my dictionary but a revision never hurts.

This is a must-read for all the newbies

Few points will definitely be a boon for those who have just started working in the field

A great add-up in the list and will definitely earn you a fruitful result if you have not already eaten up the information in the field through various sources

Cheers

Here goes my review, finally got sometime to read through all 21 pages of it.
I was lucky enough to get this for FREE as a review copy!
I'm not a newbee when it comes to keyword research, but not an expert either.
Language is pretty simple and demonstrated perfectly by dividing into sections.
Couple of interesting strategies mentioned that worth of bookmarking :)
This guide will also let you optimize your SEO expense as their (keyword tools) results vs expense is nicely explained.
Step-by-Step instructions with a research sample of getting an optimized keyword targeting 'people who are interested to spend' rather than attracting audience who just step out after visiting the website. Nice reading and highly recommended for freshers :)

Thanks for that review and am glad you are pleased!

On the fence as to buying this?

I'll sweeten the pot for you!

Buy this, shoot me the transaction ID via PM (Please don't post that in here) and I'll give you a video I made on ecommerce KW research!

The video is not something you would see on a silver screen anywhere but it is informative and anyone that has seen it has said it helped them a bunch.

So get off the fence, pull out your paypal wallet and get a great, no fluff ebook and a free video to boot!
Hi,
Is the ecommerce bonus video still available?
Do you cover informational KW or buy intent KW only?
I planned to buy this book in the end of the month. Buy I feel want to ask you first.

Thanks.
