I hate finding excuses and i usually don't give up easily but i think the idea of creating a blog has caused me to procrastinate a lot lately without doing any real progress, i think i hit a wall and i hate it but i don't seem to be able to complete even one article, is it my bad english? the fact that i totally lack in creativity? expression problems? the terrible enviroment i work? the fact that i don't have a deep knowledge in anything? i don't know but i don't seem to be able to get anywhere like this, i feel totally impotent, i don't seem to be able to make proper connections on my sentences. I have been trying to gather info a lot and ideas but i can't create enough content out of them. Honestly you need creativity, deep understanding of a product and ofc fluency of the language which i don't have.

I think i would be much better with videos because there is no need for perfect expression and it's more practical, you have to showcase well rather than using too many words perfectly. There are other projects that i can start without any delaying but i hate giving up.

Shall i give up and create a blog later when i will be able to outsource everything? are there any blackhat tricks i can use to write decent content without any delay on studying a subject? e.g rewritting succesful articles? can i use infographic only posts with lists of features so i won't have to write any paragraph at all? what do you suggest?

Do you know something? let's say you make a review for a drone, one of its features is portability, You can explain that with 2 sentences, i don't understand what's the point of making 2 paragraphs for this. I can't make sense of some stuff.

Most people when they start doing something try to do everything themselves which leads to frustration and lack of creativity. The best process is always been to follow your PASSION and only do 1 thing in which you are absolutely BEST at! Hire people who can do the job for you and you focus on what you can do best. Don’t be a jack of all trades!

You mentioned that you are good with videos. So why not start a brand type Youtube Channel? Gain some followers , build some content and then eventually get your blog ready which your followers will visit if they like the video content.

Remember – Having an idea is easy but to implement and actually make that idea successful you need to have a process in place to get it done effectively.

"is it my bad english? the fact that i totally lack" should be; English and I.

Have you considered doing the blog in your native language maybe? That would be easier ( and cheaper ) than outsourcing content.

Find a niche you have a genuine interest in, it's easier to write about. As for the 2 lines or 2 paragraphs this depends on the product, type of article and how much is information or how much is fluff and filler.

I think you are being way too hard on yourself and pressuring yourself to write this incredible, amazing, earth-shattering content - and the fact is, great content requires skill and practice. The same goes for videos - in the beginning, the videos will probably be a bit amateur-looking, yet with time, you'll get better. If you feel that making videos is what's right for you, then you should go for it. You can always come back and create a blog later on.

Also, I agree with the user that mentioned that you should find a niche that interests you. You wouldn't believe how much easier it is to write about something that you like. As far as your English goes, there are plenty of resources online, and you can always use some of the programs, like Grammarly, to check the content.

fluency of the language which i don't have.
your English is quite good, use grammarly to refine it.

no, you need to put in the effort.
i don't understand what's the point of making 2 paragraphs for this.
The point is google likes nice (and long) content; users too; imagine you want to buy something, which site would you trust? so make a site like something you would trust yourself, the more relevant content there is, the more trustworthy it looks (among other things)

If you want to do blogging yourself, it'll be easiest to find a niche or topic that you're interested in. That way creating content won't feel like such a chore.

Life is hard, and everyday its harder.
Should you give up ?
My point mate,is, take a note, write to your self step by step what you have to do, hire some freelancers or what ever to do a job that you cant understand or handle, and make it working.
BTW, how old are you ?

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. Thomas A. Edison
You can do it mate, just got to keep on track, It gets tougher the closer you get, keep pushing and get your success :) There is a tool I saw on JVZOO its a plugin for WP it apparently makes articles etc Copyscape approved. Its called "article genie" Good luck mate :)

I made the mistake of trying to do everything myself. You can get overwhelmed and defeated easily. I could write the articles for my site sure but I have so much other stuff to do that it never gets done or I do a poor job far under my true ability. I overthink things. I started outsourcing my articles a month ago and it has made my life 100x easier. I pay $5-$10 per 500-1000 word article. Also I have found that I’m more successful when my blog is about something I actually use or enjoy. Hope this helps.

Yes, you should definitely get your english sharpened and use it properly. Watch some grammer lesson on Youtube.

Just remember why you wanted to start doing that, mate. It could really be extremely frustrating, but you can really use other people's help. Don't try to do everything by yourself. :)

Imo, something you enjoy doing in your life is not neccesarily something you like writing about, i love games but i don' like writing about them unless i really want to share a guide, blogging is purely educational so something you like writing about is something that you truly want to share with the world and teach.

It depends how presentable you are.. Create a sample video and show it to other people and see what they see.. If they like it, you could go for it.

Manage your times, organize yourself, don't give up.

Blogging will not go away entirely but video enhanced by a blog is definitely the better path for you.

Besides, the secret to blogging is not to blog every single day but to produce the very best content and spend most of your time PROMOTING IT

Yeah I was making this mistake for years, blogging for the sake of blogging, and even then it was posts around 500 words. Complete waste of time.

Now I only have 7 blogs so far on my money site but with promotion, and a ton of shares, they are ranking in Google already.

There is no point writing a massive post if nobody is ever going to see it, focus on the marketing.

I find it ironic that you talk about your English being bad but when I read your thread I can interpret it perfectly without any problem and it sounds fine to me.
