Amazon Affiliate when travelling (Preventing IP Ban)

Hello guys,
I've been doing Amazon Affiliate in Italy with pretty good results and was wondering how you guys manage the risks and possibility of being banned when logging from random places when travelling, like for example airbnb apartments, hostels, hotel lobbies, where you don't have any possibility to know who is connected in that right moment or has been connected in the past.

I say that not for random paranoia but cos I've been reading many stories of Amazon banning all the accounts that connected from a certain home working with a weird concept of "ip contagion", where for example all the members of a family had their accounts banned, it happens with FBS sellers mainly but also with affiliates and surprisingly even with regular amazon user accounts when people asks too many refunds.

Please illuminate me on this matter, I was thinking to set up an international 4G connection and use always that one, is it a bit exhaggerate?

Thing is I'm doing good money and don't want to take any risk. Thanks

Use a good quality vps with a secure setup. Tunnel your way into that (via an encrypted vpn connection.)

Use this and you can login from anywhere in the world.

Internet cafe/laptop on beach wifi connection/mobile 3G 4G -> vpn -> vps (same ip to login everywhere, no change here.)

Check the marketplace. You can get Italian vps.

No, you don't need a Vpn because a vps already masked your location to Italy.

First of all, the chances of being banned via association through IP are miniscule, and there are probably other factors Amazon would take into account before banning somebody in that fashion. However I don't know for sure.

I'd just grab a VPS then tunnel through there, as another member said.

@dannymerdinga Try to find a reputable (OnApp) VPS provider. Try to avoid providers like cheapWindowsVPS.

And keep in mind that a Windows Something license ussualy comes on top of the rent for the VPS.

When I go abroad this is what I used to do -

Set up a vps and put all the stuff on it I need - outlook, chrome, site logins etc.

Then I log in to that from wherever I am. That way you always got the same ip, and also it’s fast - even when you on slow connection you just got low bandwidth footprint of rdp, then you got fast internet on the vps

Now I got home pc so I log in remotely to that, rather than using a vps

hey newbie here.
do they really do that? I mean even though your IP changes cuz you are traveling, your MAC address will stay same and Amazon would know that it's coming from a same computer. My understanding was whether it's amazon affiliate, SNS or any other shit, you wouldn't get banned as long as MAC address stays same
Am I getting the concept wrong?
