What is the purpose of getting proxies?
Haha, you keep catching my mistakes. Sorry, they're for scraping.
They're used primarily to mask your IP, so if a platform bans you it won't burn your real IP and will burn the IP of the proxy instead.

For scraping you can go even for cheap shared proxies because the main iasue when scraping is that you need a large pool of IP.
So don’t go for the more expensive proxies with clean IPs.
So look for any marketplace provider selling SEO proxies or shared proxies

That's true, I do browser automation though so I do end up downloading like 2mb+ per page. For my purposes I haven't had a single account get banned running 50 accounts so I would rather just pay for an IP that I can tie to my account and make it look less suspicious. I make money selling the accounts after a certain point so I benefit from paying $1-2 for a proxy.

I could probably look a bit harder but I had a terrible experience with reliability through a shared provider. Have you had experiences with good shared proxies? I'm doing browser automation so the scraping is a lot heavier than normal, loading a 2mb+ page on a bad connection is not fun. My AI through the shared proxy was continuously dropping. I tried about 25 different proxies from that provider so it wasn't just a single bad proxy. Always the chance that I just went with a terrible provider for the shared proxy.
