PayPal error

I got a mail today from PayPal saying :

" You were recently sent a local payment via PayPal. However, this transaction was unsuccessful.

To receive future payments into your account, you will need to complete our online verification process"

I submitted the documents. Will I not be able to receive payments till these are verified ? Anyone else got this ?

If the account is limited in any way, usually if you go to the Resolution Center, you can see what can you do with the account, because limitations ca be different. At least that was the case with the old layout, i'm not entirely sure about the new one, i wasn't limited with this one yet. They're usually pretty quick with reviewing documents though, so even if you can't receive payments at the moment, it should be solved soon.

Usually your payment will go through though. They just have it on hold.

go on "Resolution Center" if anything asked on there then do that, if you couldn't find anything there then you have to talk with support, i had faced that problem in last month, called on paypal support they said try after 48 hours but my account had been solved after 4 days. would you received any payment from any people recently ?

Isn't resolution center for disputes ? There is nothing there.

well they will take 24-72 hours for review your documents, so that you have to wait 24-72 hours (sometimes that would take longer for weekend)

No response on that. But I am able to receive, send and withdraw to bank.

when your account is new on paypal they have this certain amount of day they will hold your funds to check if your a legit seller or buyer. it's for security purposes, but sooner or later on the given date you will receive your funds.
best way is to call them, it is much more effective than emailing them.

Yes, this was asked after I was sending a payment to an Indian account. I had given documents and all functions are now working without any problem.

1 more thing both Indian accounts to be verified with all necessary documents .

Suppose if your account is verified and the account on which you are sending money is not verified will still not receive the money.
