@Mr Crabs how long have you been using Serpstat ? I bought a lifetime deal and only ever logged in once, as I found the ranking tracker to be skewed. Never used their keyword search though ( yet ).

SerpStat is a seriously good free keyword finder, supports competitor analysis too!

I find SerpStat's Competitor Analysis pretty shitty. + I hate that 300 query thing, exhausts up pretty quickly.
How's the Keyword research btw?

Been using it for about 6 months now, use it for the keyword finder tool and to find keywords competitors rank for. I haven't used any of the other features, as I use SEO Powersuite for everything else.

I find the keyword research to be really good, sometimes for the shortest of short tail ie "news" the number of searches it displays the keyword as having doesn't make sense, but for anything other than that one example, I find it to be very accurate and really helpful for my keyword research.

Why don't you give google keyword planner a try? It can provide approximate traffic, and it also provides the ad competition - which can serve as a basic guideline on what to expect when competing for that keyword on their search engine.
Although it may not be conclusive to someone new, but after using it for a while, you'll know what to look for, and I've been using it ever since.
