Newbie just arrived on here our of sheer curiosity and in my never ending search to find out how the hell i generate accountancy leads business through the internet.

I'll be honest and say that most of what you IT people go on about makes me think i'm special needs (no offence to anyone who has SN meant).

Anyway, just saying Hi, and don't think me ignorant if i hover in the background like the ugly. weird kid at the prom that nobody wants to dance with.

I doubt it Panther, lol. Yes i run an accountancy/Insolvency practice and have tried various so-called SEO geniuses and the usual Yell.com and google ads, fb ads, (don't get me started about Yell.com, haha), but still don't see how others generate many leads?? Is the whole website, seo sales lead thing one giant myth or am i just rubbish at this and i should just go back to walking through town wearing my sandwich board over my head?

Go into0 your local bank, and apply for a small loan, and ask the bank manager that you would be very grateful if they could help you out with any insolvency leads they have. Tell them about your business, and be confident, if you make friends with him/her, and take them out to lunch, your surely get a lead then

Give yourself time!

You will fail many times on your journey(s) but none are failures if you learned something from them for your next endeavor.

It is a lot to take in at first. Start slow and set realistic goals.

Nice idea but they would cough up blood if i did that, lol. Most of it is recommendation really. Banks can't recommend like they used to be able to do. Thanks for the interest though.
