So I have this domain..

A year ago, i bought a domain after a coffe and 5 mins of thinking, based on the niche.
Now, after 4-5 months, I started to learn about SEO and finded out that my domain was regiatered in 2010 till 2013 with only top 3 pages(semrush says 50)
Now, from 2013 to 2017 it was *expired* i think
How this can help/disasvantage me?
Because It is an amazon affiliate built with WooZone (10k pages generated) and after a year I have a maximum of 3k pages indexed, decreasing now to 2k and so on..
What the f should I do?
From my point of view it s an awesome domain..

Also, the backlink profile seems to be dead..no backlinks build by the previous owner

So the main question is do you have backlinks from the previous owner? It seems the answer is no, in which case it is nearly like a new domain.

Yes this is a dropped expired as you already said. But the question is what are the backlinks. Use a backlink checker. OR what are the metrics?

If you had no backlink, then it does not matter really if if was dropped or not.
As this clearly would not be penalized, so you have neither benefits, nor handicaps.

I just call it awesome because it has a lot of potential because of it s name..
So i have to assume that google will take it as a 1yr old domain, or 8 yr old?

Blog commenting + web 2.0 + submissions
Edit:built them overtime, a lot from social media that weren t indexed for almost 8 months but I did not gave up
Seems that my hours weren t useless, after all
